about me ;;

my name is ann! i mostly use she/her pronouns and neos¹, but am fine with they/them and no pronouns. on rare occasions i might use he or it, though i prefer to be asked first anyways

i am inscrutable² and reject most labels! my experiences with identity are extremely personal and always changing in all aspects, most notably in terms of gender and plurality

i identify as multitransitional, primarily transfeminine. other common genders are (trans)masculine, neutral, androgynous, outherine³, xenine, and null

i don't exactly label myself plural although i am aligned with certain qualities! the closest definition would probably be modular⁴ but also i don't really care lol. i use the terms headmates, facets, fragments, flares, parts etc interchangeably for ourselves and we're cool with it.

( ^ continued) it's usually just me around here but parts will come and go as needed, & usually not sticking around long. memory and emotion is shared collectively. "you&" only used in this context, otherwise just "you" is okay.

i am often refer to myself as nonhuman entities, such as a plant or a spirit. i truly believe that on a fundamental level i am these things and more*

*reality checks are generally unwelcome. unless i give you clear permission and trust, just assume it's off-limits and we're good 👍

object shows!! i mostly just enjoy the concept of them, though i am a fan of specific shows, such as love of the s*n, titletext[] & hfjone. also monster/bestial objects are awesome!!!

i'm distancing myself from roblox as a platform, however i still like most of its fandoms!

exploring surreal games was a big hobby of mine: ESCAPISM AREA, Domokoa's games, M U G E N's games, Exlivi Preservation Project, Exodo, || rorschach ||, & of my abyss among many others were fascinating more well known fandoms would be Die Of Death, Seildirectory, Bad Things, PHIGHTING, & RecallAHollowHeart!

people don’t enjoy shipping anymore. the point of shipping isn’t the catharsis of watching them kiss onscreen, it’s grabbing the characters and mashing their faces together like you’re five years old playing Barbie in your room again. it’s to take one moment of eye contact in canon and read that over and over and over again with twenty different writers’ interpretations of the characters internal monologues if they were in love. it’s to see the characters interact and cheer because you know that’s another moment to add to your list of canon compliant fic ideas. you’re stressing yourself out, this is supposed to be fun!

i've definitely changed too, just at a slower pace! i've had chapters and eras and skins i've had to shed. i've gone through more names than i can count and at least 30 different labels. that is a Lot

i think my personal experience with plurality & the way my collectives function gives me a very different outlook on plurality in general. collapses/dormancy have become second nature so i've had to accept that it just happens. it needs to. on the other side of the coin is a found value of sentience; flares often want to experience everything to the fullest before crackling again. cant say i blame them

and then theres me, hi! im ann. thats my current name at least. i've seen it all and it wasn't always easy, in fact rarely was it ever. to this day i still struggle with plurality except now i can handle it better than i had before. basically just never give up or something. i dont know. im bad with outros
