banana bread + neuroscience
it’s starting to feel less hot. i started reading a passage north by anuk arudpragasam, returned a bunch of library loans that were piling up on my table, and watched the stage adaptation of a little life which both made me very happy and shook me to the core.

(C.B)(5.19.18)
it always reminds me that quote of picasso: "every act of creation is first an act of destruction." probably i will make an ouroboros tattoo o.o
A brand new study corner full of sun lights✨
went to the used & rare bookstore downtown to buy one book for my friend, and came back with all of these beauties. i cannot be trusted around old books.

Day 12 of Summer Studying Challenge
I’m having hard times lately but yesterday, talking to my family and my boyfriend really helped me even though I knew it was going to be hard to talk about the problems that i have and indeed it was harder than I thought. Just don’t save your thoughts or emotions to yourself, it’ll never be the best way to deal with so think about sharing without any fear. I’m just saying don’t mind me.. (baby if you see this ily)
12th July - What is the worst vacation you have ever been on?
I actually don’t remember having any bad vacations cause like it’s always better than staying at home in summer days, imo of course
going over + making some notes before class. with intimations on the side.
Let the Sunshine Heal You.
had a pretty great start to finals season today. spent most of the day programming but also
read A Man Called Ove by Fredrik Backman
drank at least 2 pots of Japanese green tea—it’s practically fuelling me through the final stretch of the semester
created a rough plan for my week
made some illustrations
started watching Voltron
yesterday i rearranged my at home office and i am obsessed with the final look | more on my instagram account @thomreads (for anything studies and books related)

“I can give you nothing but a warm and grateful heart that is yours now and always.” -Emily Dickinson
April has arrived and with it cherry blossoms, sunshine and my pollen allergy :)) besides that I’ve been trying to get back into my studying routine but tbh it’s been a real struggle lol but I’m trying my best with the help of study streams and libraries
21.05.21// ready to visit gardens and see friends and do summer things! I think I’m going to do a nice long walk this morning before it gets too hot! There’s a coffee shop a decent walk away that I’ve never been to so here’s to new things!
