Saw this eight year old comment from a Karedevil shipper:

"If Frank had anything more than platonic feelings for Karen, she'd be the one he's thinking about at the end and not Maria. Show seemed clear that Frank's not just missing Maria, he's still actively in love with her."

This is such an interesting comment because in OLK, Karen - not Maria - is the one Frank hallucinated right before he fought for his life. He imagined her wearing Maria's hoodie (his hoodie, really) and he almost kissed Karen.

I think OLK proved that Frank's moved on from Maria's memory and that he's madly in love with Karen. And a Karedevil shipper from eight years ago unintentionally confirmed it.

Whoever wrote this movie doesn't get Frank Castle at all because what do you mean there was a scene when he had the ripe opportunity to open up to Peter about how he understands what it feels like when you love someone from afar and yearn for what you cannot have and didn't do it? What do you mean he didn't think of Karen or even allude to her? Oh go away!

From Lieberman calling Karen Frank's girlfriend to which Frank says nothing to contradict him to Lieberman's "Sarah's my wife. Sarah's my family." to which Frank responds, "So is Karen." to Frank hallucinating Karen wearing his late wife's hoodie.
