I have no intention of watching Live-Action One Piece, but based on what little I've seen, live action Garp spits in the face of everything manga Garp stands for.
He MC’d Roger’s execution, and he actively hunts Luffy even in East Blue. I don’t know if they revealed him as Luffy’s grandpa yet, but he seems to have WAY more pride in the World Government than he ever did in the manga.

Hey I had an idea for why joyboy and Davy Jones aren't the same person. If Davy Jones was the king of the world, in some way shape or form, and Emmett apologizes to joyboy for not being able to make him king, in some way shape or form, then they shouldn't be the same person.
But maybe they were father and son? Or like master and apprentice? Joy boy was supposed to be the next "king" but Imu became king instead, while Davy Jones was before Imu
Imu said Davy wasn't King of the World though 🤫 so it's entirely possible that he *would've* been the rightful king, but he failed to actually become one.
Rocks also didn't talk about birthright or blood at all, only inherited will.
Joyboy has to be a moniker for *something*, I really don't think that's his real name. At MOST I could only go with Binks = Joyboy, but personally I'm still sticking to this darkhorse theory of Davy = Joyboy until the very end
Like I said, king in some way shape or form, like how when you're king of the pirates you're not king of anything, for roger it meant he was strong as hell and he "conquered" the grand line by finding the last island.
So Davy Jones could have been king in a similar way, while Joy Boy wasn't a king in a similar way.
So if Imu is a god complex having jerk who only values authority then someone who only has a title of king but no authority then they wouldnt see Davy Jones as a king.
So if a supporter of Joy Boy, Emmett, doesnt see joy boy as a king, but a supporter of Davy Jones, Xebec sees Davy Jones as a king, they may not be the same person.
I still like the idea that they are the same person though, im just wondering if we are supposed to have figured this out with what Emmett said

the prophecy is fucked for multiple reasons but one of the ones i'm dwelling on today is how in trying to supposedly "stop the end of the world", we're causing the end of the world, multiple times over. we're destroying the homes of dozens of darkners without a care, but hey, those aren't real, right? gotta protect the white-picket fence suburb above all else! don't look at how your LV goes up every time you seal a fountain.
If too many dark worlds happen at once titans will come and destroy everything, presumably not just when you open like another fountain in a dark world.
Besides those dark worlds dont get destroyed, they "exist" even with no fountain, as the darkners still have jobs and purposes they fulfill long before the dark fountain is made. You can only destroy a dark world if you destroy the room its in, or summon a titan, cause seemingly the titan messed up the church pews and scattered a lot of stuff in the church main hall
I think Yamato should be Trans or whatever term for when you're gender queer, because Yamato is obviously comfortable being man.

i still think Yamato presents a good test as to whether ppl will acknowledge trans individuals as such when they don’t have a body type that reflects our ideas of what that gender should look like.
oda clearly didn’t intend for this, as he’s very much in the “he’s confused, but he’s got the spirit” territory when it comes to being pro-lgbtq+. but it’s still something that means something to trans fans of the series at the end of the day.
Like yeah, even i said I think Yamato falls under gender identity stuff, its just so under identity theft it makes me wonder if Yamato would still keep he/him pronouns if the Oden thing was given up, and Yamato wasn't educated that you dont need to be someone else in anyway to be a man or whatever Yamato truly identifies as.
Cause its like no one has told Yamato that you can be a guy without claiming to be someone else
I think Yamato should be Trans or whatever term for when you're gender queer, because Yamato is obviously comfortable being man.
The problem is have is that Yamato didn't rename Yamato as Oden to honor Oden, Yamato did that and CLAIMS to be Oden, the Oden, they guy is was shot in the head after boiling in oil for an hour.
Going so far to claim momo as "my son as I am Oden" (paraphrase)
I cant fucking say or think that's a good or even a representation of Trans folk because Yamato is committing identity theft and wont let up.
Like kaido and like all his goons respect the pronoun change, but they dont respect the name change. If Yamato is trans why not respect the name change? If Yamato isn't Trans why respect the pronoun change??
I try not to mention Yamato at all and as you can see not even use gendered terms.
I love how Nami was one of the most reluctant (if not THE most reluctant) to join the Straw Hats and become a pirate, yet she is also by far the most committed to actual piracy.
Piracy would imply she would steal from everyone but she only wants to really steal from pirates, other than some supplies I dont think she actually took money, stealing or rewarded, from alabasta like she said she wanted to in whiskey peak, the only time this girl got to "steal" was gold from a snakes stomach which was up for grabs, and even then she could've been rewarded with soooo much more gold with that golden pillar
He's only stupid socially and even then its just because hes trying to keep up the facade of being the smartest student and it makes him make terrible social decisions that even he doesnt think are that good, but its what he thinks smart people do and is confused why its not working even though hes keeping the facade up
I think if you believe in DessKnight, there are some serious questions you have to answer
Dess has been missing for a while. If she is just a regular lightner, why does she behave so differently to the other heros we have encountered. Why is the knight able to change its form, why can it float, why does its features seem to droop sometime
You can believe that this is in some way no longer her, but by what mechanism? If Gaster did something to her, changed her, how did he do so
If you still have these questions, maybe Roaring Amalgam Theory can answer them
I do need to look up roaring amalgam but my general idea is its a flowey situation where its her body without a soul, and thats why shes evil, not just because of no soul but I dunno the darkness corrupted her more quickly that it took flowey to become evil. And thats why her body is weird its way more magic than physical matter now, how it can appear in the light world without being dust? Not sure, maybe being super magic allows the knight form to persist in the light world for a limited amount of time?? And I think the knight has to be 1 person in the light world cause susie only pointed out 1 person running with undyne to the shelter, and I feel like it cant just be a trusted person but someone who could over power undyne like asgore if his stats are anything like undertale being stronger than undyne. But I also dont belive asgore could be the knight unless being the knight makes one eviler
...wonder if the "old friend" asgore refers to in carol's room is carol? after all, he is looking at her conspiracy board, when he himself has a conspiracy board in his basement. im really starting to like the idea that he and carol are a seperate group from the knight that kris is double crossing (maybe I should make a Post....)
Nah you're completely right about there might be 2 teams, well 3 that Kris is apart of, the fun gang delta warriors, the roaring knight, and whatever the fuck is going on with Carol.
Chapter 2 established this narrative with Kris getting into trucies with Noelle, queen and berdly. Who are all basically against each other in some way.
Team Carol is in the dark of all things major happening, i guess they just think they have a lead on dess being alive?, fun gang delta warriors being against the roaring and team knight trying to cause the roaring.
And Kris is on all 3 teams just wanting to bring back dess and not cause the end of the world but needs to get close enough to the end of the world to bring back dess maybe. If that general theory is correct
"kris made friends with susie, but susie made friends with the player" is such an annoying and uninteresting statement, im sorry but no she did not, not everything kris ever does is solely because of the player, and a lot of their personality comes out when theyre interacting with susie and susie clearly enjoys that side of kris.
i understand the angst angle this thought can provide, but i feel like it undermines the actual relationship these two have in the game.
Susie and Kris are definitely friends on both sides, Kris does enough stuff without our input to make it so, and while they definitely agree when we are nice to susie, it should bring into question how real is it for susie when she learns that any stuff between them was because someone else suggested it.
A better angst is that if Kris is working with the roaring knight to bring the roaring or just to bring it enough to complete a goal, like reviving dess or something.
How much does Kris actually like susie if she was a means to the end? A part of the plan that needed her to go along with it, that they didn't stumble upon a prophecy that predicted they would be friends, but rather knew all along? Where they just putting up with her to fulfill it and descard her when its done
Do we think Kris and Tenna met before in the Dark World? As in, before Chapter 3?
Because Kris is taking a huge risk by just hoping Tenna cooperates with the plan to keep Toriel away and the Fun Gang distracted if they don't know what Tenna is like.
Tenna could have been like King - resentful towards Lightners and unwilling to help. Or he could have just refused outright and exposed the plan to Susie and (possibly?) Ralsei. If Kris and Tenna haven't met, they practically hit a home run while blindfolded that he was so willing to go along with this plan.
Then again, maybe this was just blind hope that he would cooperate, given he is the family TV? Might have had some expectation that Tenna would be friendly based off that history, even if they haven't met. And assuming his Darkner form is faithful to a character they may have created in childhood games, there would have been some prior knowledge on his personality, at least.
I guess there is also the possibility of the Knight having information and giving it to Kris as well.
I was thinking about this a few days ago, well in terms of where you appear if you make a dark fountain or enter a dark world. Cause there's either no real pattern or it depends how you enter the dark world.
Cause like did Kris really just talk to tenna in the light world? Or did he spawn close to tenna in the dark world, made the deal all secret like and then had him and susie and the manifestation of the couch go to the outer parts of the dark world?
Cause entering castle town for the first time you're in the outskirts but next time you're right outside castle town. You enter a door in a dark world to get to card kingdom, but you enter a real door to get to the outskirts of cyber city, and sorta seemingly do the same for 1st sanctuary. But when susie makes the second sanctuary you appear right before the dark fountain, is that just because she made it based on the first one subconsciously? Or did Kris and susie spawn close to the TV world dark fountain and have to be moved?
But yeah how did Kris make the deal so stealthily is a bit confusing
