- Has her love interest for I Knew You Were Troubleâs video get one of Harry Stylesâs tattoos (the one he got while she was at the shop with him, which fans and paps caught), tweets lyrics to this song a day before the news of her and Harryâs âbreak-upâ come out, performs the song at the BRIT awards (Harry was right there) and says that it was tough because the person it was dedicated to was right there. During all of this, the media runs with it: the song (which has lyrics about him abandoning her, not loving anyone, betraying her, using her) is about Harry Styles. In this context, she receives an award for the video (VMAs) and thanks the person who âinspired the song who knows exactly who he isâ because now sheâs âgot one of theseâ. Once again, Harry was right there and the camera panned to him. She very, very knowingly started and fuelled the perception of this song being about Harry.
- She came up with the concept of the song in late 2011/early 2012 (before even meeting Harry), taped the music video in November 2012 (while allegedly dating Harry), released it in December 2012 in the middle of their âwhirlwind romanceâ, which ends just two weeks later, when she starts heavily promoting it. The song could not be about him. She used an eighteen-year-oldâs name to promote a diss track that could not have been written about him under any circumstances.
- Writes and records Bad Blood about âa female pop starâ [Katy Perry] that allegedly âtried to hire a bunch of people out from under herâ and âbasically tried to âsabotage an entire arena tourâ.
- It was three back-up dancers that were close friends of Katyâs (confirmed by video evidence), who had specified in their fucking contracts that they always intended to go back to Katy. She fired these poor people and then shut down Katy when she tried to reach out and released a diss track instead (a year after this incident even happened), which she heavily promoted at the BBMAs (two years after the incident happened) with a high-budget video and a cast filled with A-listers. The video depicts a violent fight.
- Acts outraged at the lyrics of the song âFamousâ by Kanye West, gives a speech at the Grammys, painting herself as a victim and saying how horrible it is when people try to âundercut your successâ and take credit for your fame.
- Kanye showed her most of the lyrics before releasing the song and Taylor approved of them and said he was âvery niceâ. She specifically talked about the line that referred to him making her famous. After the fact (when she was told there was tape of the conversation) she tried to backtrack her Grammys speech and say that she was upset over the misogynistic message of the song and Kanye using the term âthat bitchâ to refer to her when in reality she approved of the lyrics âmight still have sexâ and she knows full well from her rap collaborations that the word âbitchâ is a commonplace in the genre. She tried to threaten Kim and Kanye with lawyers so they wouldnât release the tape and continued to blame Kanye by using semantics when she was 100% shown to be in the wrong.
All of this, while also saying sheâs âso non-confrontational, you wouldnât believeâ and that âshe never asked to be a part of this narrativeâ.
What a petty fucking snake.
