Have you ever been hungry? Have you ever gone hours without eating? If you've experienced food scarcity or have been hungry & unable to eat, then you shall surely sympathize with what i am about to tell you.
Ibrahim is a young, 15 year old boy who has been going without eating because there is simply not enough to go around and he wishes his other family members to eat. Can you imagine having that kind of weight on your shoulders as a teenager? Gazans are already starving, aid gets through even less and less, and food prices are exceptionally, ridiculously high.
Please, if you have any spare change, give a bit of it to this family so that they can have a bit more to eat. If you can't donate, even spreading their fundraiser would help a lot. Thank you!!
Hello I am Ibrahim, 15 years old, I seek your help and assistance to save … Safaa Alanqar needs your support for Help Ibrahim's family e
there are 43 days left to fulfill the municipality of gaza's life-saving campaign!!!
water is life. infrastructure must be rebuilt. about 190k usd are left to reach this goal.
donate here! every dollar gets us closer!
if you have a clean and consistent water source that is a privilege. it always has been in this world. here is a chance to give that back to a place in dire need. take it! this goal can and must be filled!
Tagging for reach
It's really ridiculous how we had literal video proof of items being bought and distributed but GoFundMe still deleted HelpGazaChildren's campaign because there weren't any itemized receipts for the aid... Like I understand that in most other situations they're required, but how can you expect receipts from a literal warzone where people are constantly fleeing for their lives??
@abo-ataa, our friend Hussam from HelpGazaChildren, had dedicated all his time and energy into helping displaced people in Gaza, even when he himself was displaced, to the point where he doesn't even have a proper tent for him and his family.
And his personal fundraiser was also cancelled by GoFundMe, where they didn't allow him to collect the 9,000 Euros he raised!
Please try to contribute to his campaign where he's raising funds for him and his family to try and survive the harsh winter. Any amount, no matter how small, will go a long way in supporting them throughout all this.
Help Rhmah Hijazi reach their goal by donating or sharing with your friends.
Almost all of my feed today has been of dead Palestinian children; mothers hunched over the bodies of their children, families wailing, fathers holding their dead infants singing lullabies to them. It's horrific.
The UN reports that almost 70% of Palestinians killed by Israel are women and children.
The same report states that children aged 5-9 account for most verified deaths in Gaza.
Investigations show that 335 bullets were fired by Israeli forces at a family car where 6 year old Hind Rajab was trapped and killed.
Doctors and nurses testified to the overwhelming number of children who were killed by sustaining gunshot wounds in the head or neck by Israeli snipers.
NICUs have been a specific target of strikes and destruction, to the point where today there are only 54 incubators remaining across all of Gaza.
Israel is waging a "war" against a besieged population, of which nearly 50% are children, and yet they try to convince everyone that this is anything but a war on children? This is a genocide in every sense of the word, where the past, present and future are being actively annihilated.

For people who think boycotts /BDS doesn’t working —
My last job was at an ad agency and Burger King and Hershey’s were one of our clients. We’ve received several briefs on how to combat and address boycott sentiments because it was affecting their market shares.
And our other clients frequently check to make sure they’re not being boycotted
It’s working. It’s working. It’s working.
Frankly I'm running out of words to explain and reiterate the importance of fundraising for my friend's family and his brother's family.
If you can spare anything please do not hesitate to help them. Mohammed El-Shaer has been so dear to me, I've known him and feared for his life for nearly a year now.

Most of us are fortunate enough to live in places that, when we need to drink some water, wash the dishes, or shower, it isn't even something we need to think about. It's just the flick of a tap or the push of a button. That ease is a faint memory for so many in Gaza, especially the little kids who have to walk far & queue for hours, just to get a gallon or two of water for their families to last the day.
1 gallon = ~3L -> most people in the global north rely on anywhere from 80 to 350L a day. you should be drinking ~3L a day, forget everything else
(obvious point but) dehydration sucks -> that feeling of your throat and tongue sticking every time you swallow, your heart pounding so hard and fast you can feel each beat in your extremities, the blood rushing in your ears as you pant, feeling dizzy and the pressure building up into a headache, being relentlessly tired all the time & struggling to focus. and that's just if you're mildly dehydrated. severe dehydration can lead to death (kids under 2 & the elderly are particularly vulnerable to this). chronic dehydration can lead to long-term (& easily avoidable) illness (e.g., anything from kidney stones to kidney damage)
lack of clean water = lack of basic hygiene = spread of disease (e.g., hepatitis A -> 40,000 recorded cases of HepA in Gaza from Oct. 2023 to Oct. 2024. In the previous year, it was 85).
Water insecurity is a daily, terrifying reality for people in Gaza. But there's a way for us to help! Faten & her family are hoping to raise the funds to buy 2 large water tanks (~1000L each) to act as an immediate water point for themselves and around 30 other households. The aim is about $7,500 USD to get this set up (2 tanks + cost of filling them + cost of gas required to move them).
So please, donate what you can! (vetted here, #289).

€210/€500 (short-term goal for Nov. 3). Including prev. reblog info here too:
Before the news hit that UNRWA would be banned from operating in Gaza, the water situation in Gaza was nothing short of catastrophic. Miles of sewage lines, water mains, desalination plants, wells, water tanks, have been deliberately targeted, destroyed, prevented from operating, or contaminated. Even engineers sent in to fix water mains have been targeted and killed.
UNRWA has been critical to the delivery of both food and water aid to people trapped in Gaza, and now it's being pushed out of the Strip.
Please donate what you can spare, this is incredibly important.
€462/€850 (goal must be met by end of the day on Nov. 6)
Faten & her family survived hell on earth in Nuseirat just 2 short weeks ago. The entire time they were there was spent under relentless bombing, shelling, and gunfire. When it wasn't that, it was the rain that flooded their tent while they slept. Now, the terror is that they won't be able to pay their rent, and the several young kids in the family (Faten's little brother, sister, and her niece and nephews) will be forced to live in the tent again just as winter hits
There's just €38 to reach that initial €500 goal
From there: €350 to reach the new goal (this is for rent)
There's about 16hrs to help this family afford the absolute bare minimum for the next several days & to have a proper shelter.
Please donate what you can, this really can't wait.
just found out that there is a sudanfunds website! like gazafunds, it is a compilation of funds for people facing genocide

we're approaching winter. on top of the challenge of securing waterproof tents and sufficiently warm clothing, some diabetic people in gaza have stopped taking their insulin as they can no longer afford it. those who are able to acquire it for now know every shot may be their last.

Lina Zeyad is an attorney and mother from north Gaza. To put it mildly, she has had an extremely difficult year.
She and her family have been displaced from their home by occupation bombing, and were forced to flee various shelters under threat of IOF assault numerous times. Her youngest son then contracted Hepatitis C after having to drink contaminated water, requiring medical treatment.
THEN, to add to her difficulties, Tumblr staff terminated her account with no warning or explanation. They have failed to restore it, leaving Lina with minimal contact with the outside world. I lost contact with Lina for several months, and was only able to confirm her condition after her son Youssef created a Tumblr account @yousefleena .
Every displacement costs money for transport, accommodations, and basic necessities. Additionally, a high cost must be paid for medical treatment and to procure food and water. Despite this ongoing need, Lina’s campaign has reached a virtual standstill. Astonishingly, after all these months, she has only achieved a depressing 5% of its goal.
Please support Lina so she has a chance to find accommodations, food, and medicine for her family! Reblog this post and repost the link (https:// gofund.me/de10f8c6) below to share her campaign.

university goers and sufferers how are we feeling this midterm season
unbothered. flourishing. caught up on submissions. all lessons revised. 😌
this is fine :) (dog in house on fire meme)

you don't need me to explain to you how stressful midterms can be, so i won't. but i will ask you to imagine the stress of it all, with the added knowledge that even with all the preparations you can make, all the studying and revising you can go through, you can be prevented from taking the exam altogether.

my friend mahmoud @ma7moudgaza2 is a very diligent student. even with all the pressure on his shoulders to keep himself and his family afloat, and surviving the daily horrors of genocide in gaza, he's constantly trying to focus on his studies.
sometimes when i'm studying and i'm stressed i receive a message or voice note from him and it dawns on me how it must feel. if i am so nervous here from the safety of my home, how awful it must be for gazan students.
can't we take a small percentage of this stress of a fellow students' shoulder?
Dear student, to be able to enter the midterm exams on Moodle, you must pay a fee of 20% of the current second semester fees 2023/2024 through payment methods: bank transfer, PayPal, or mobile. After payment, the notification must be delivered to Professor.
It’s currently now 15,157$ / 15,700$
This is what my university sent me, I have to pay the fees before 9/11 because the exams start then and I can't take the exam without paying the fees so help me please guys , We only have two days left to accomplish this and we have 550$ left to complete the goal .
Especially on (US) election Day remember the Palestinian cause. Both candidates participate in a genocide against Palestinians, either win is a loss. You can't celebrate or mourn the results without remembering over 43,000 innocents have been killed thus far as a result of the genocide. A vote for either candidate is a vote for the deaths of Palestinians. Neither one is a moral choice, there is no lesser of two evils. There are two fascists on the ballot and either way we are inherently complicit in this genocide as USAmericans.

Do your part, recognize our complicitness as USAmericans in this genocide. I will be adding more to this post as time goes on. FREE PALESTINE 🇵🇸🕊️
the most depressing part is that it's not even kamala's stance on genocide that is costing her the elections. i wish it were. it's people genuinely shifting for trump. but it's the pro-palestine movement that's going to get the blame for it.
obviously she fucked up on that front and on multiple other fronts (an understatement) but if these results have showed anything it's that the alt right white majority will never vote for a black woman even if she were perfect. but liberals will blame arabs for the faults of white nationalism and misogyny. at this point if you're blaming the pro-palestine movement and saying shit like "are you happy now? is this what you wanted?" you're just brimming with anti-arab hatred that you're desperate to release at any given opportunity
so what now? the genocide is still ongoing and the rise of fascism is unimpeded but now people will point to those most affected by it and saying "this is what you wanted, right?" and you and i could spend the next four years arguing and yelling at those people or we can do something that matters.
mahmoud needs to pay his fees in 5 days or he will fail this semester.
amal needs to meet the soaring prices of baby food in gaza for the sake of her daughter maryam.
look out for the vulnerable and watch out for the way people are venting their frustration at fascism by blaming its victims.
