okay Ive been binding for over two years now in a family where im very much not allowed to do that so i think it’s time to share My Wisdom since apparently not everyone knows this stuff #My Wisdom

For my fellow american guys who are just starting to bind and aren’t in situations where it’s easily accessible i need you to know 4 things

YOU CANT GET BINDERS AT SPENCERS. If you ask to go to a local mall with some friends and you have cash (never buy gender affirming gear with a credit card or something your family can track your transactions on), you can get a medium length, mediocre, binder for a decent price. I recommend starting with this because tape will eventually run out while a binder can last you years and be removed relatively quickly in a pinch; in addition tape is significantly harder to use

KT TAPE IS WIDELY AVAILABLE AT MOST PHARMACIES. Name brand kt tape is pricey, personally im newer to this method so i cant speak on different brands but in theory any should work. KT tape is harder to use but ultimately safer, more comfortable in addition to being something you can swim or work out in. The downside being that it can be confusing to apply and you cant take it off quickly in the event of an emergency. Just PLEASE use oil to remove it and dont forget your nipple covers.

REVERSE HOODIE AFFECT. If you are caught in a situation where you are binding around your family your dysphoria hoodie or layered clothing can also hide and/or take focus off your lack of tits, you can also rely on your transgender posture for help here.

THEY MAY NOT NOTICE ANYWAY. So unless you have really large knockers most normal people wont notice, this goes twice for people who live in the kind of family who dont notice drastic changes in haircut and color 👍
