Top 10 reasons why Ethan Winters is the best

He’s rational. He doesn’t have the time for all the weird stuff his enemies throw at him, therefore he’s the kind of protagonist all horror movies need and never get.

He’s determined. When he has an objective in his mind he sticks with it. Long lost wife to save? He goes through HELL just to do that and doesn’t question it. Daughter missing? Same thing.

He’s the best husband. Imagine if your wife continuously lied to you, disappeared for three years, then reappeared just for you to go rescue her from a house full of horrifying creatures, and she’s also partly to blame for all the shit happening. What would you do? Well, Ethan never stopped loving her despite all the bullshit, stayed faithful for three years despite believing she was dead and literally DIED for her. I say get yourself a man like that.

He’s the best father. SO LOVING. SO ADORABLE. And again, went through hell to save his daughter.

He’s honestly badass. Not many people would have the guts AND the ability to fight enormous monsters like Ethan does.

He’s smart. Try and solve those puzzles in a life threatening situation all the time. How does he keep his cool?

He can reattach limbs. Seriously, how cool (weird, but cool) is that? Also a big meme.

He’s literally a hero. He tries to save EVERYONE in his path. Fails most of the time, yes, but he tries. Selfishness is NOT in his vocabulary.

He’s the reassuring person everyone needs. This just refers to the ending of Zoe’s DLC. How heartwarming was hearing his voice at the end??

Chris Redfield likes him. Who the hell am I to disagree with Chris?
