LEO: you could say that I don't know too much about the mechanics of losing, but to my knowledge, everything has some sort of to-the-death part, one way or another

Not sure what the chances are of this working in the afterlife, but have you tried Iris Messaging your friends at all? I saw you had some pictures of them up in the background. Must be hard to be without them after you basically lived in each other’s pockets for a year.

LEO: I heard from some 100 year-old 12 year-olds that people sometimes go to "Midgard"--their word for Earth--for secret missions. I don't know how much of that is true, since we can, you know, die for good outside of the hotel... but maybe after my welcome I can find a way or reason out of here...

im very new to tumblr, how does this work exactly??? do you post comics or is this a fic somewhere or what??? Sorry, I'm just very confused.

hi anon, no worries! this is an ask blog, so it's a litte bit of everything! think of it as a comic-style fic, but pretty interactive when people send in asks. I have a few posts up that explain the premise/catch you up, and you can go back/forwards in the links of all my posts, too. the concept is that we uncover things as we go/by asking :)

when is this taking place in the MCGA timeline? and by that i mean is alex there yet or will she/he be their before or after jason gets there?

we are currently in the first few chapters of HoT, where Alex is introduced! Jason is quite possibly going through his breakup with Piper right now as ToA/TBM happens at the same time as HoT, so after a bunch of initial adjustments and adventures, he will make his sacrifice and join them later on.

Magnus/TJ/Halfborn/Mallory all met Alex during group combat that Leo was not a part of (dragons), but Leo has met Magnus and Halfborn - and Leo/Magnus have talked about Alex! They're all just trying to figure each other out.

edit: also the ToA timeline is alluded to in this post which is kind of an easter egg but cool to have worked in there. we'll get some insight on that side of the timeline via Jason soon (when I've actually fleshed it out)

Leo hasn't used his powers once in battle and it's probably costed him a couple losses. (The dreams are likely both from the gods and also from genuine demigod PTSD.)

just thinking about how if ending up in the norse afterlife is enough to make leo valdez, known Greek, to freak out about his ancestry... how tf is jason grace gonna cope with it when we send him there too? his identity had been shoved at him, thrown around, rewritten, over and over again and although he was once the Golden Roman, he died not knowing that for sure anymore
