watched the princess bride for the first time and i thought it was really good (and i'm mad i never watched it sooner) but the ending made me really really emotional so i decided to put on the birdcage because i needed a laugh but then i got really really emotional again because i wish nathan lane and gay robin williams were my dads in real life

ive had a very rough year, especially in regards to my queerness, so this pride month is about to be extremely bittersweet for me. mostly bitter actually. it's hard to be me at the moment. but i guess the point of pride is that i persist anyway
