Deixe-me ir, preciso andar
Vou por aí a procurar, sorrir pra não chorar
Se alguém por mim perguntar, diga que eu só vou voltar
Depois que me encontrar
Quero assistir ao sol nascer
Ver as águas dos rios correr
Ouvir os pássaros cantar
Eu quero nascer, quero viver

Willa Cather, in a letter to Zoë Akins, November 21, 1932
when you see your little kitty walking toward you at a leisurely pace and say "hi baby!" bc you're excited to see her and she starts trotting a little bit faster 'cause she's excited to see you too. that's what life is all about i think
when u touch an unaware cat and they make that small surprised sound reblog if u agree
i think you should be suspicious of anyone that can't seem to explain their arguments in plain language. Even the most complex topics can be broken down and explained in accessible language. If there is an argument that is always couched in 500 obscure pieces of jargon or turns of phrase and words dug out of the farthest corners of a thesaurus, and the people arguing it seem incapable of talking about it in any other way, it might be because the obfuscation is the point, and they want you to assume you are out of your depth and that you should just trust them as the expert. When really, any real expert can (and will) explain the same concept in different ways to different audiences and should have no problem doing so.
