Opinion on Proship

(I don't support it and here's why.)

I'm not even like antiship nor netural its like a werid mix between the two (not neutral towards necro, zoo, pdf romantized ships im very against it.)

My main thing on being against proshippers is minor safety because even though the textbook defintion is anti harassment.. There is still more to the proship label. People who use the label either don't understand what it really means or they use it to show off their pro non con type ships. That exposes minors to taboo topics in a non-age-appropriate way and can even cause normalization or even paraphilias in the long run.

I don't feel like I should explain further because obviously, romantization and glorification of pdf and zoo ships is inherently bad and unhealthy making intrustive thoughts worse. If you are still confused, it is like as if you scratch a mosquito bite, the scratching would feel good but it only makes the itch worse.

Hello! As someone who actually researched proshipping, theres nothing under the "label". It is just anti harassment. Yes people use the label on their ship videos but it has nothing to do with shipping characters itself. Its like, you dont care if they are shipping stuff like on ao3 for example, just scroll. Just ignore that content. If its actually romantizing real life things then the people watching that person on the internet can do something about it but if its fictional characters then it really doesn't hurt anyone. Also, if someone is under the legal age to see that content, its the parent/guardian's fault for not limiting their internet access. This isn't an attack, I do like your posts just this one is not it. You are spreading misinformation.

That is because the murderers out there already had those thoughts to begin with. Not as intrustive thoughts but their own. Please just reread what I told you. You dont have to agree with proship but being proharassment/antiship is a complete waste of time. People can do whatever they want as long as it isnt hurting REAL people. The concept of shipping is just shipping fictional characters together. You can disagree with necro, pdf, and zoo type ships. It just doesnt make sense to harass someone whose mind you cannot change. They chose what to make on their own terms.

I honestly do not think you should be proud of your paraphilias that can harm people (ex. pedophilia, necrophilia, etc etc) and parade around your disorder, very harmful and makes it difficult for people to get help - coming from a person who struggles with paraphilic thoughts

I miss people who have hurt me. I don't get it. I miss them. I really really do. Theres this aching wound in my heart as I get another notification from the groupchat. They are still there yet not. Like an empty human-shaped hallow shell. No one is home. Their light brightens like a lighthouse when our friends are around, but when it comes to us, there's nothing but a dim light.
