Once I found out about my breast cancer I knew I wasn’t going to let it get in the way of my life. So one of things I did was find a way to go to the Dallas Fan Expo! Comic cons are a lot of walking and chemo makes you tired easily. So we decided a wheelchair was the way to go! I chose Ariel because I love her and mermaids, but also because what’s better than a mermaid in a wheelchair? This has been one of my favorite cosplays! I had kids coming up to me all day! It really warmed my heart and is one of things I love most about cosplay! The looks people get when they see your costume, but nothing beats the kids faces!
