Evan knew he shouldn’t be scared. It was just a stupid haunted house, where the monsters were about as scary as a puppy. But Evan’s nerves had spiked ever since the crew had walked up to the haunted house. It was supposed to be the most popular and the scariest in the country, and everyone wanted to go. Especially Delirious. He always loved scares and Halloween which was the only reason Evan was here.

The line kept slowly creeping forward, and with each passing step, Evan felt more and more panic in the pit of his stomach. He just shook it off and tried to laugh along with his friends. Tyler kept cracking really inappropriate jokes which threw everyone into hysterics. And, of course, when one of them started laughing, they all would too.

Some monster in a pig mask ran by and there were several jokes made about Wildcat. Tyler just rolled his eyes and playfully punched them all. But when Evan looked up, he realized their group was set to go next. The panicked feeling returned and he felt his hands sweating a little. He just took a few deep breaths and kept his cool, calm exterior. But Tyler wasn’t fooled.
