Personal pros to vaping.

 I’ve noticed some upsides to owning a vape that keeps my desire to eat away. Be aware, there is no upside without it’s downsides, but I will likely cover downsides later.

Pros:

1. The nicotine kills my appetite and makes me forget that I’m hungry.

I start to get a different kind of lightheaded feeling when I’m on a nicotine high, so I end up unable to feel my hunger pains when they really bother me. I also find that nicotine kills my appetite.

2. Better than cigarettes.

Studies have shown that nicotine is much like caffeine; there is no link in nicotine causing cancers. Instead, it is the MANY chemicals in the cigarettes that end up fucking you over and aging you and ruining your teeth. It’s much like how in soda, it’s not the caffeine that’s ruining your teeth, it’s the syrups and sugars and acids that are.

3. Flavors. So many.

Sometimes, I miss food just for the taste. And me being the fat sack of shit I am, I don’t trust myself to do the ‘chew and spit’ method. I used to just chew gum or suck on those flavor cubes when I really needed some taste in my mouth, but with vaping I’ve got access to things like ‘strawberry cheesecake’ or ‘vanilla ice cream’.

4. No bad smells.

I used to always hate the smell of cigarette smoke (and the taste it left), so to smell like fruit all the time is actually pretty nice.

Cons:

1. Price.

Not everyone has enough income to cover this, and I understand entirely. I’m not saying that you should run out and get a vape and make money tighter for yourself. It would be something to budget for, if you really wanted it, but that is a choice you have to make. On the plus side, I’ve seen entry level vapes go for 20 dollars, but again, if you can’t afford it, don’t push yourself to get it.
