I’m sorry but the Downtown character bio blaming Serena for her bad taste in men and not “knowing a nice guy when he’s in front of her” leaves a bad taste in my mouth because it feels like it’s implying that Alex is that ‘nice guy’ when Alex wasn’t nice. He fetishized Serena for being goth and only wanted her because she was goth. Alex wasn’t the “nice guy” she overlooked, she gave him a chance, got to know him, broke up with her abusive boyfriend, figured she’d stop dating junkies and convicts and creeps who like to fetishize her only for Alex to ignore her once she stopped dressing as his fantasy. Alex wasn’t a nice guy, he was just a little better at hiding his sleazy behavior before he revealed his true colors.

On that note if Downtown ever gets a revival I think that Serena should get a girlfriend.

There is no point in finding what everyone calls success…

As we walk through the path of life, we keep hearing those voices around us repeating “dress for success” and what seems to be “the road to success” but have you ever stopped to think through it?

Once you do it, you find that there is no point in trying to achieve that, because not all of us want the same thing and that is the key to get it.

Everyone talks about success but only some are focused on what success it represents for them personally and those are the ones capable to value their process as much as the achievement without worrying not meeting other people’s expectations.
