She can’t help but overhear a passerby, the words coming out of the girl’s mouth sounding oddly familiar. She turns towards her, not particularly caring if it seemed weird to start a random conversation. “I feel like I’ve heard that somewhere, but I can’t remember where exactly. It’s not a new song, is it?”

RJ waits impatiently as she just blinks and time is wasted. How he’s going to find a compatible pet now is beyond him, but he’s quite literally half-in the store so he might as well finish up so he can go back to the rest of his life.

“Okay, but you own like a small zoo so you’ve got to be good for something.

Can you get in through this window or do you need help?”

“-- I don’t know if you know, but that window is a bit high and I am not quite as tall.” she points out.

“I’m sure I can make it, though, I don’t trust you enough to think you’ll actually help me.”

She quickly ties her hair up in a bun in an attempt to keep it away from her face, her hands looking around for a decent spot to grab onto. The surface is a bit rough against her skin, but the feeling is ignored as she curls her fingers around it, holding tightly and pushing herself up, her legs quickly following. Vega does not fully enter the place right away, awaiting for her heart to stop its rapid beating due to the effort.

“What do you even want from this shelter, anyway?”

She sees the light around her flicker, announcing a new presence in the room she’s been reviewing her essay in for the past hour. The fact that she was able to notice somehow annoys her, but she is thankful for the distraction. You can only look at a paper written in English for so long before the language itself no longer made sense. “ -- Need any help?” She asks loud enough for the other to hear, no longer paying attention to the screen but not moving her gaze away from it.

Holding back a low sigh, the brunette shakes her head in light amusement. Her gaze quickly flickers to the metallic object, her attention now settled on the challenge. “Alright, I will give it a try, and hopefully master the art of zippers,” she jokes, her hands moving to the back of her dress and taking a hold of the item. “Hold your breath for a little, yeah? Just to make it a bit easier to pull up.”

“Eh, its alright. Its not nearly as fire as that entire new T-Swizzle album was though. I mean, I think it may be one of the best albums of all time! Even better than ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’ and that’s saying something coming from me. 1989 is a national treasure that will rank up there with the Declartion of Independence and the Constitution as the most important artifcats in American history. My biggest problem with Uptown Funk is that while its a catchy song, its not nearly as good as classic funk, Bruno Mars ain’t got shit on Earth, Wind & Fire. While T-Swaggy is in the upper-echelon of pop stars, right up there with Michael Jackson, The Backstreet Boys and N*Sync. Her tour this year is going to bring the world to its knee’s, I know ‘cause I already got tickets to 3 shows and I’m trying to cop more. ”

“So... you love 1989? Just making sure I understood. I gotta give it to you, though, it’s the first album in which I can listen to all the songs without cringing or disliking a particular one. All of it is pretty great, really catchy, it’s been almost a year and I can still listen to it without wanting to cry, unlike Uptown Funk. Saying it’s better than ‘My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy’ might get you hanged, though, and even though Kanye isn’t much to my liking I wouldn’t stop his followers from doing it. I also don’t listen to much classic funk, considering I don’t usually listen to anything older than me, I simply know that many people from different ages seem to enjoy it and like the fact that it’s bringing some of it back. 'M gonna ignore the fact that you’ve got tickets for 3 of her shows already and that there’s still no invite, but rest assured, I will hold it against you until death takes me with it.”
