Yesterday was my grandmother's birthday and although she is not here in the flesh, she is very much here in spirit and grace. Thank you for having the courage to brace the unknown, leave Jamaica and clear a path for your family all by yourself. And thank you for instilling that same courage, creativity and thought inside of me. I would very literally not be here today in this place if it was not for her and I owe everything I accomplish to her vision. I love you always and forever. #
