I didnt know that being so happy and at peace could be so quiet and a calm i never thought i would experience

i'm loving bravely default.

i have a hard time recommending bravely default

it is a jrpg designed to be a love letter to final fantasy: 4 heroes of light. each of your main characters could protag in their own game (a boy who lost his home to supernatural causes, an amnesiac with a book of prophecy, a priestess with an atlas complex, and a traitor to the empire whose father is the grand marshall)

its a game stuck on the 3ds

it has a fully developed job/class system that allows for crazy builds and optimization

unlocking all of them takes 60+ hours, most of which are optional and you will have to go out of your way to get

the final release has difficulty options like easy and hard modes and encounter chance modification

a major system of the game requires Streetpass (easier now thanks to modifications like pretendo but still)(save editing can also be done)

the cast of characters and world are well developed and deeply interesting

seeing everything the game has to offer will take over 100 hours

the depth of the game may make you want to spend over 100 hours on this game

i'm like 90-ish hours in, about 10% was grinding for levels and money (which the game def makes easier for you) and it really is fun. its a jrpg, though, and i know that not everyone has the time to spend on it

but if have time and like final fantasy, please give a look at bravely default

It’s literally impossible for you to make yourself known to everyone you meet. Some people will just get the wrong impression about you and you have to let it go.

I was walking down the street with my brother on a hot day on our way into a bookstore and I said “I hate the sun. It’s too hot. Name ONE reason we need the sun. Literally I can’t think of a single reason why we can’t just figure out a way to block it”

And a guy turned and looked at me with the most dumbfounded and horrified expression Id seen since the last time someone looked at me like that (about a week before) and then turned to the girl with him and they both looked mistified in the worst way.

They really thought I don’t know what the sun’s for.

I could’ve told them I work in environmental science but I was having a conversation with my brother.

Those two people think that’s the day they overheard probably the stupidest thing any human being has ever loudly said in a bookstore.

That’s fine.

I know I know what the sun’s for.
