i've been replaying the remake and crisis core, and i juat keep thinking one thing:

do u ever have a moment where u illustrate smth, but then u don't actually like like how u colored it, so u scan the line art, print it out, then color the same illustration again but differently? i like never use dark colors with markers, so this was a fun challenge, lol

i think my favorite part is the clothing folds on sephiroth's clothes

i like the double belts in cloud's remake design, but i like the color of his outfit from the original game more.

side note: the ink from my epson ecotank printer bleeds/smudges with alcohol-based markers

alcohol-based markers + color pencils, i need to get back to doing more illustrations with them. it's less tedious than just color pencils, and u can add more details than with just markers

this was meant to be practice, but then i spent more time on it than i thought, lol
