I hate that its been such a long time since I've posted anything or actually actively worked on my label, but that doesn’t meant that the passion has gone.

So I've been busy having a baby!  I am the happy and blessed mother again and my baby is currently almost 4 months!  He is beautiful and I am full of love.

While I was pregnant and struggling to look for things to wear I found solace in my handmade kaftans which I had in stock from this fashion label.  These silky, one of a kind pieces have been a heaven sent as they feel like i’m floating around in my pajamas. No waists, no restrictions, perfect for buffet clothes or any day you don’t want to worry about coordinating tops and pants and needing to suck your tummy in!

Re-imagining, Reinvigorating and Repurposing feels good for the environment and feels good for the soul.

Venus Hearts Isaiah enters the Fair Trade arena Once upon a time there was a dream to make a difference in the everyday. It's the niggling feeling that everyday the sun will awaken and a day will break and end. It's this inevitable knowledge that pushes me to contribute in this world. I may be one person, but each day I try and make each waking moment enjoyable. Yet it's not all honor and integrity on this path. We're still cartwheeling, tickling, hop skotch and hoola hooping down this road. Mistakes are being made and tears are being shed. It's the continued getting back up that makes us who we are. We're not a big label but we got bucket loads of heart. So as we stumble through this new door that is titled Fair Trade come with us, hold our hand and let's skip towards the sunset together. Sneak peek for our latest photoshoot. These good looking dapper gentlemen make me take a second breath. Cheers to the boys! Hip hip hooray! Check out the left over fabric from our dresses which I made into bow ties. We promote reusing resources we have. Reducing our environmental footprint by reducing wastage. Recycling fabric and making more colourful & happy pieces. Doing our part to follow the happy & spread positivity. The world is a much better place with these hot fellas in bow ties! When you listen to your heart and try and find your place in the world, the universe introduces you to those who lift you up. These ladies are schooled in the art of Fairtrade & Fair Trade. Yes, there is a difference with a space or not. Cheers to learning, networking and collaboration. I'm so excited for this new path on my journey. I'm hoping to build something ethical and positive, something that can be useful and creative. *watch this space. I didn't find where I fit in the corporate world. I looked up "gratitude" in the search and this lil beauty came up.

I was writing to someone that I am exercising my "gratitude muscle"... and I thought to myself. .. if only there were gyms for those muscles! So let's create one! Every time you're grateful you're exercising your gratitude muscles! Everyday is our gratitude gym! So be like Arnold and "get to the chopper if you want to live!"... oops sorry. .. wrong movie...

So last week my work mate gave me one of these motivational cards. People should just hand these out to people on the street to hand out smiles. *you're a Rockstar *your breath smells like candy *you are epic with Microsoft Excel ...you get the gist I also did the whole wake up and exercise thing. I'm doing the whole "I will create positive habits thing"... so here's the challenges to keep me accountable. I plan to wake up early and exercise. I plan to stop smoking I plan to get my rsa & first aid again I plan to give my ideas legs (autocorrect wrote kegs...yes kegs is perfect). I just finished the 4 hour work week and it's fantastic! Awesome ideas and I can't wait to put some into practise. I'll share my progress and hopefully learn with you guys in the process.

Venus quit her day job! 2 more week of work to go! Ok so you know when there are those moments in your life when you feel it's time. I had one of those about 2 weeks ago when I decided to quit my stable bank job. I have been thinking about leaving for soo long and some circumstances in my life culminated in the quitting of the day job to much of my jubilation. (Albeit out of the blue.) It's been one of those sh*t scared, ima listen to my heart type situations where I'm really trusting in the universe now. So where am I going to from here? What am u going to go you say? I have no clue. I'm on a crash course to life as it were. It's like looking up from a book that's really boring that your parents made you read and think to yourself. .. I don't want to read this anymore... chucking the book to the floor and then figuring out you have no idea what you'd rather be reading. So here we are folks... at a very terrifying crossroads. But I crossed the road without a road map and I figured let's make an experiment of this experience. I am a person who doesn't have a filter nor do I truly think before I speak or do... oops. ..ask forgiveness after the event... I believe is the term. .. so here we are. I've decided to document my journey here. Partly as I've a memory like dory and can't remember where I am half the time, and half to share my experience in the hopes of connecting with others equally as lost so we can help each other along the way. Cos, let's face it... in the words of the awesome Stacey Orrico song... "there's gotta be more to life"... and I'm gonna see where this takes me... I apologise now if it's just to the Centrelink cue... lol Cheers 2017! You're a sneaky lil cock (year of the rooster. ..get your mind out of the gutter)... Let's do this!
