It's 2025 ending and 2026 starting and we starker fans/lovers are still living.

Intern at Stark Industries Peter Parker. Been there for about a month.

He never got the winter weather protocols. He should have known something was up when the lab started emptying out earlier. Its how he ended up alone in the lab at the end of his shift. And now officially locked in the building as the news announced s moved into a level 3 snow emergency.

"Well shit."

Peter pulls out his new employee packet and flips through to see if there is anything he can do. He reads a line that in an event of weather related lock down, he can access a floor to stay the night. There is a unique pass code he can use in the elevator to take him there.

Peter packs up his stuff and heads to the main elevator. He types in the code.

"Code Accepted. Greetings Mr. Parker. Room 5 is available for use currently. The frig is stocked and you are welcome to us the kitchen."

" Oh! Um thank you. Is there anyone else stuck here in the tower?"

" Yes. Atleast 10 people."

" Okay. Cool cool. I'm not the only one. Has anyone eaten yet? I can cook."

" No one has eaten yet. "

" is there enough ingredients for me to make shepherds pie? For atleast 15 people? Some if ppl want more we have it?"

There was a pause for a moment before the elevator stilled.

" Yes there is enough. Thank you for the generous offer. I will announce to the others when you finish."

The doors opens to a large living room in what appears to be a penthouse. But he already spotted the large restaurant quality kitchen. He looked down the long hallway and saw the doors that were labeled. Finding room 5 he left his coat and backpack there before heading out to the kitchen.

Maybe it was an accident that Peter got that code to be let in to this particular floor. Or maybe that protocol was never updated.

So Peter was surprised when he pulled out the 3rd large tray from the oven to come face to face with the Avengers.

The one with the cancelled dating show

Tony Stark and Pepper Potts had been divorced for years. The media never let him forget it, endlessly speculating about when Iron Man would finally settle down again.

The truth? Tony was fine. Better than fine. He had his lab, his tech, his whiskey, and that was enough... ...Until a late night call from a director, paired with one glass of scotch too many, ended with him agreeing to star in a dating show.

The rules to apply were simple enough. You were to send in videos of yourself to show your personality. Later Tony Stark would pick ten contestans he was interested in.

And if MJ and Ned accidentally sent in a few funny videos of Peter absolutely gushing over Tony Stark, his biggest celebrity crush, they’d never confess it.

What Tony didn’t expect was to fall head over heels for the curly-haired kid in those low quality videos. The one whose cheeks flushed pink every time he said Tony’s name. The man who got stars in his eyes while talking science, and wore dorky nerdy t-shirts too big for his frame. The kid who was a genius, but didn’t flaunt it.

...The show lasted only one episode before it was scrapped, much to the outrage of viewers. But when Tony Stark announced his sudden engagement, the scandal vanished overnight. The fans got what they wanted at least, the hero had found his pair.

The Avengers 2012 era was the best time ever in the fandom

Thor loves pop tarts, Clint lived in the vents, Bruce and Tony did science together, Steve was the mom friend of the team and did art in his free time, Natasha was cool aunt of the team, Loki was there too and a bunch of other characters like Peter, Sam, Bucky, Vision and Wanda all lived in the Avengers tower together

It was a much simpler time where everyone in the fandom was chill and having fun together

Modern AU Stede isn't a tailor or a flower shop owner btw. He's a divorced dad in his late 40's who just figured out he's queer and wants to 'engage with his community' and 'do something fun for once' so he opens a queer bar. Unfortunately he has no fucking idea HOW to run a queer bar, like at all. It's the most ridiculous bar you've ever been in. He stocks more tea than alcohol. There is a wall of bookshelves next to a place that's often used as a make shift dance floor. On Tuesdays and Sundays they open early and serve 'brunch' while Stede does dramatic readings of fairytales. 'Perhaps you'd be more comfortable making it a cafe' 'no its a BAR I want it to be a bar' stede insists. Its called 'The Revenge'. Because what is a modern au of if not a bizzare place for queers to hang out?

Lost at sea

Ed’s body was aching.

 Like his body wasn’t his and his soul had taken a trip down to the bottomless ocean below. The water; displayed to the many ships sailing the high sea were similar to his never ending flow of feelings. And his soul, conjoined with his lover’s cold and motionless body, will never again be visible in the eyes of another man. 

It was shockingly simple, to love and be loved in return. And loving Stede’s all emotional sides was as easy as cherishing him in all his glory, embellished with ruffles and jewels. He was perchance a crazy bloke, revealing his true self to a man stupid enough to switch out gunpoweder for marmelade. But even though everyone said he was a madman, it felt just right. 

But now with Stede gone, he’d preferred to get stabbed thousands of times into his right side than to live further in absence of his tea, stories and absurd adventures. 

Edward considered retiring, leaving the ship, the men and the few but emotionally attached items from Stede that he couldn’t bear to throw away, to Izzy. It wasn’t such a bad idea after all, it’s like that vacation thing Stede taught him about, but this would be permanent. Although he couldn’t come up with a single situation where that would help with his empty chest. He couldn’t decide if it would be practical to leave the ocean behind. It worked both ways really, for every time he looked at the ocean he could feel Stede’s presence; like a calming intimacy creating for a moment of time peace in his heart and mind. But that tranquility crashes as soon as a wave hits the hull and he wishes for the time being to never see water again. 

With that in mind, Edward moves down to the cabin, his fist strongly holding a red piece of fabric like it was his lifeline. His leather boots walking on the deck making loud thuds. The crew didn’t dare to say anything against it, they knew how he’d react. Besides, neither of them wanted to get the same fate as Izzy; tasting their own toes in consequence. 

The French navy was getting closer. They fired their warning shot for what felt like ages ago and Blackbeard's ship was slowly floating nearer. No one on the Revenge were scared, they did after all have Blackbeard by their side. The formidable, nerve wracking, ruthless most famous pirate of all the seven seas was gonna fight by their side yet again. They gathered their gear, forging their swords and loading their guns, getting ready for an easy fight in which they would win quick and simple. This was like any other day for them.

When they boarded, the French stood equipped with weapons of their own, instantly coming into duel. Fang was the first of the pirates who attacked, shooting a guy directly in the head, making him fall back with force and losing his wig in the process. It was all rather bruteful, blood covering the ship's load onboard and deafening sounds coming from everywhere. 

It was going on for quite some time til Blackbeard decided he had enough and loaded the gun against the captain. The captain turned around slowly in hope to not disturb the black-covered pirate. “Stab me” Blackbeard muttered inaudibly, almost too low for himself to even hear it. The captain didn’t react to the command, perhaps for he didn’t hear it. “I said stab me you fucking piece of shit, do it or i’ll cut of your tongue, make you eat it” Blackbeard shouted to the man in front of him, gaining a dizzy look in response. Before he had the chance to repeat his command a ringing appeared in his ear and for a moment, he thought he saw Stede.

“Ed, don't shoot me!”  “Come on mate, this is it! I’m gonna shoot you in the face!” “NO” “this is the life, now act…or die” “NOO”

“ONE”

“TWO”

“THREE”

“STAB ME”

And Stede stabbed him. Ran straight forward colliding the sword with Ed’s left side. Edward just laughed while staring into Stedes brown eyes glimmering in the moonlight. 

“You happy now? I’ve stabbed you, you nut!” Stede screamed at him, trying to hold up the man as best as possible. He was beautiful like that, Ed thought; nothing concealed behind fancy clothes. This was openly Stede Bonnet ‘Gentleman, pirate and concerned friend’. 

“You managed to avoid all the important bits”

Blackbeard was back to reality, now staring down at a lifeless body Izzy was hovering over. “You can’t still have him bothering you captain” Izzy said before moving away from the body. Blackbeard stood still, the ringing continuing while memories of his beloved kept flowing through him like the waves on the ocean. It wasn’t empty anymore and his feelings became more clear by the second. There were no tears, just Stede’s empty hand warming his freshly shaved cheek. For the first time in a while, Edward smiled fondly. He switched his view from the body to the water, watching the waves flow freely. Peace taking over his entire body with no later effect of chaos. This was happiness in all its forms. The pirate took out his red fabric, watching it move as the wind was blowing. He let it go and saw it disappearing out , fully joining life at sea. Not long after, the dreaded pirate captain followed after. Now, for the first time; the Kraken united with the lukewarm water and The Revenge continued sailing the seven seas, now with a new captain.
