From the current cicada apocalypse to unexpected Derechos and a little bit of everything in between, risk mitigation in the potager is an ongoing state of being. But isn’t that just life in general, a constant bending so we don’t break. A daily navigation of unforeseen circumstances, and preparation for possible future issues while weaving our way through everything the day naturally brings. In the end the reward for our labor is equal if not greater than the effort expended and the sense of accomplishment when we have found that sweet spot where everything falls into place and works...is priceless.

Brass bells with rich red velvet ribbons paired with antique pewter, and a beautifully oxidized silver teapot filled with white roses, iced berries and pine stems make a beautiful vignette. Arguably one of our favorite combinations this season.

We love the moody elegance of this space, with its varied textures, gold and brass and reflected candlelight. An appealing Victorian aesthetic... Are you preferring a vintage elegant Christmas, a simpler rustic Christmas or a fun brightly patterned and color drenched Christmas this year?

The Aviator Pixie is ready to facilitate...  So, let the escape house mystery game shenanigans begin! On the set of Allied in Death 2023...

An old brass bed frame played the part of steam punk pipes in our secret laboratory set. A can of  “invisibility” paint glowed beneath the lights as it spilled out over paperwork, rendering it invisible. And what secret workshop during WWII wouldn’t need an old reel to reel projector...Altogether we loved the moodiness of this escape room in our game.

The floor to ceiling fireplace created entirely from scrap wood, a piece of plywood and 100-year-old trim adds ambiance to the English “Study” set of our escape house mystery game...and it hides a bit of a secret behind its moody façade... can you guess what it may be?
