I think my favorite thing about all of those genres is that I find the humanity within them all. Even if you’re travelling around space and time, there is still something crucial about finding humanity within that and the same thing with a high-class escort. They’re people before anything else. That has been the common thread; I’m totally blessed to have a crack at them all.

          “They’re at home with the baby.” Evaan shrugs. Alderaan has always been a PEACEFUL planet, a place where everyone is trustworthy. “I don’t think you’re a liar. You’re too pretty to be a liar.” The logic of a child.

Padmé— No, Veré, she was Veré now, and she needed to remember that… In any case, she raised any eyebrow at the child, trying to figure out what it was she was supposed to say. “No. I’m not a princess, I’m here as a friend of the Queen and the Viceroy.”

          “Are you sure?” Evaan squints her eyes, gazing suspiciously up at the woman. “Because only princesses look that pretty. Or queens.” Queen Breha was gorgeous, the young girl knew that, and everyone talked about just how pretty her baby would be when she was a grown up too. “You know the Queen?” Her eyes widened with excitement once more. “Would you take me with you? I wanna meet her!”

“You’re lying,” Padme furrowed her eyebrows, a cold chill running through her. None of it made sense and at the same time the young woman looked so familiar–but it couldn’t be. She was a CHILD the last time she’d seen her, not more than a few months ago.

“Where is Bail? I need to see Bail Organa.”

          “I don’t see why you think I would lie about something like this, Ma’am.” She wishes she were lying, she wishes that her sister hadn’t been on Alderaan when the Disaster occurred. “Bail Organa is DEAD. He was murdered by the Empire.”

But that plan has gone to hell so it’s best to feign childlike innocence, “I’m not alone. My droid is watching me until Master Zelig gets back from the auction.”

Evaan wasn’t given her first blaster until she was seventeen and training for the REBELLION. “You have a Master?” A blonde eyebrow raises --- the only people she knows with masters are Jedi and slaves. “Don’t you have parents?” Concern for this young girl’s safety is growing with each passing second.
