Mighty Avengers #17
TL;DR Hank Pym enjoys a coffee/hot chocolate mix.
Long version: A Skrull impersonating Hank Pym at a deep genetic level recalls a memory where Hank visited Brunoās Nighttime Cafe in Oregon years ago and thoroughly enjoyed a signature drink, coffee with hot chocolate in it. The event plays a part in the Skrullās shortly-lived decision to side with humanity instead of the Skrull empire.
yāknow what? FUCK you. iām putting your ass in the control group. *injects you with boring saline instead of the fun and exciting glowing green goo i originally had planned*
Not a dream, not a hoax, not a shape-shifting Skrull.

The giraffe is either an easter egg or someone at Marvel has a giraffe kink I fear
//This is a big stretch but Iām wondering if the giraffeās appearance in Hawkeye is another reference to Die Hard in the series - the fact that the giant teddy bear that John McClane brings for his kids in Die Hard was the same teddy bear IRL that Jack Ryan brought his daughter at the end of Hunt For Red October.

āI suppose if he would improve himself for anyone, it would be for Hopeā¦ā Janet sighed, knowing sincerely that Hank would never harm their daughter, but still feeling remorse that she herself would never be included within Hankās circle of complete protection
āOne thing I would very much like to see would be his labā¦just, you understand, as a means of confirming that he is indeed confining his experiments thereā¦can you show me?ā her eyes darting to the otherwise inconspicuous door in the adjacent hallway that she knew to be the entrance to the lab, indicating that it was hardly a secret to her
She felt like it was a bad ideaā¦just because of the security systems, but then she guessed there really wasnāt anything she could do to stop her.Ā Trying to say no would probably result in her thinking Hank was up to something, and also very likely be ignored.Ā She instead nodded, moving towards the door and opening it, there wasnāt much of a locking system on it, the true security measures were what waited on the other side.Ā Ā āI meanā¦I guess I canāt really stop you, and I meanā¦as long as youāre umā¦you know security system, he has a list of whoās allowed in, I umā¦Iāll go with you if itās okay? Just to umā¦make sure nothing attempts to umā¦hurt anyone?āĀ
āTo be honest, seeing if I could get past the security system is part of the test; Iād be worried if he was trying too hard to keep me out.ā
She led the way to the lab, placing a hand on the doorknob and carefully twisting it - the door appeared to open without incident, the creaking of the hinges and the light frame, but it sounded somehow off, as if it was a convincing emulation...there was just no substitute for the real thing.
Once in the lab, Janet strolled around, taking mental notes of everything; her expression was one of strong judgment, but as she began to look around, her visage softened.
āI see heās kept all the deadly items on high shelves...and I donāt see any trace of experiments with artificial intelligence...ā she spoke the latter term with a clear tone of disgust, as if it carried negative connotations to her
Her eyes then darted to the nearby metal table, one which caused her to tense up.
ā...Iām guessing thatās where he does his human experimentation? Just on you...right? No volunteers of dubious consent?"

āI just came to check out Hankās place. He wanted to start having Hope come and stay, I wanted to make sure he was making good on his promise to keep his work and family life separateā¦ā Janetās eyes did a sweep around the room, noticing a few items that had been modified, though nothing out of the ordinary for a kitchen, at least one maintained by her husband, āI donāt see any death rays lying around, so I take it heās gotten better at keeping it in the lab?ā
She nodded timidly, nursing her injury, not wanting to mention part of that was her, she did her best to keep the place clean.Ā āYeah umā¦definitelyā¦well maybe there might have been some motivation behind thatā¦probably wanting to see Hope againā¦ā She informed her looking honest, but in reality it probably had more to do with herself cleaning up, and hankās desire not to let kilgrave get hold of anything he made.Ā Ā
But it was probably better not to mention that.Ā

Huh⦠looks like Hank gave his little hover coper thing some A.I. Iām sure that is totally ok, it has never gone wrong for him in the pastā¦
