I could rant for hours about Bioware's treatment of its non human companions, and i might make a serious post about it someday, but for now i'll settle for expressing my rage through memes and tumblr text posts.

you've probably talked about this already, but do you think solas will die in the next game?

One of the narrative promises in the Dragon Age Keep is “I want Solas dead” so probably.

But Mythal was killed multiple times through this series, once even by the player character, and it didn’t seem to stop her, so I think it has the potential to be quite complicated. I also think that he’ll at least be “in flux” as the BioWare writers call it, where he’s schrodinger’s dead/alive depending on what you choose to do. It’s also promised in the story that we can save him.

I hope Solas stays alive and can be reformed just because that would be such a big break for everyone in the world, he can teach the Dalish about the past and the Elven language so they finally have a full lexicon and written form, he could try to help the City Elves become equals among the humans and Dalish alike, he can explain more about the titans and their connection to the dwarves and darkspawn and possibly help the dwarves fight against and reclaim their kingdom, the different chantry based nations can have more intel on their religion and past histories that could help the current Divine reform it like she wants to. There's so many things he could help with, if he wasn't a goddamn egg.
