I feel like Visitors retain some of the characteristics they had as humans, even long after their transformation. I think Ballerina was a very distant, practical and don't-give-me-bs kind of person with the way she constantly questions the homeowner as a Visitor. Personally I feel like she was a person with a strong and resilient personality. She may have been harsh with words, but was overall a decent and kind person who'd be there for her close ones no matter what.
Intruder is much harder to imagine as a human, given his lack of dialogue, but his politeness even as a monster makes me believe he was a nice? man no one batted an eye on. It's weird that practically no one recognizes him in this small town, where a lot of people are actually connected, so it makes me think he wasn't really known by anyone, or maybe he was just visiting the city. What's interesting is that he quotes Гражданская оборона's songs, so he probably had strong views about the world. Maybe he even had violent thoughts behind the politeness he put up, and it kind of 'bled' into the role he was given as a Visitor.
I think it's pretty interesting to see them as related, like, did they have something to do with the apocalypse? Are they connected to it? They do look similar with their short upturned nose. If they're not siblings, then probably cousins or uncle and niece. I think Cat lady is about late-20s-early30s, Intruder is late-30s-early-40s. Them not being connected at all is also pretty scary, meaning the diety that possesses humans chooses its victims at random.. I just feel bad for them man
