So last night I was rewatching Stranger Things 3 and I noticed something. Everyoneâs favourite Russian, Alexei, was found at Hess farm and later - to everyoneâs great displeasure (thatâs a severe understatement) - shot by a man named Grigori.
Now there was another incident you may have heard of where a man named Grigori Rasputin was hired by Tsarina Alexandra Feodorovna - previously known as Alix of Hesse - to heal her son, Alexei. Later, the whole Romanov family - along with some servants, I believe - were shot in a basement.
Iâm going to start this off by saying that I love and adore Supernatural. It is one of my favourite shows and it always will be. I watched seasons 1-10 in a single month because I just couldnât get enough of it.
Iâm also going to say that Iâm an incredibly emotional person (honestly, itâs ridiculous) and I get emotionally attached to characters really, really fast and even though theyâre fictional, I hold them next to my heart as if theyâre actually part of my family because, in a way, they are. I can see someone for 3-5 minutes and Iâm immediately like, âI love this person and I will defend them to my death.â
Now Iâm going to say some things that might upset some people. Donât keep reading if you havenât watched season 15 or the latest episode.
Season 15 of Supernatural (especially the latest episode) has disappointed me tremendously and I have quite a few reasons.
1. No one seems to be putting in their all. This is the final season, end it on a high note. Put in your everything and make it absolutely amazing. Among other things, Misha wasnât as gruff or gravelly (though I may be willing to excuse this for the âI love youâ speech he gave to Dean) and Mark P. just didnât fully take on the role of Lucifer aka my favourite character (Iâll expand on this in a moment; side note, I technically have three favourite characters: Lucifer, Jack, and Castiel).
2. The ending of the latest episode, what the heck was that?? Is my baby Jack-Jack the new God? Why did he leave Sam and Dean? He is technically only about three years old and he loves them, so why would he leave them like that??
3. The plot has been all over the place in this season. One episode theyâre trying to find a way to kill God and then theyâre out hunting some weird version of Baba Yaga. What?? Wouldnât you focus more on trying to defeat the person that has ruled your lives and is trying to end the whole planet?
4. Why in the world would Amara actually trust Chuck? He imprisons her, she gets out and, after a whole confusing fiasco, tells him that she doesnât want anything to do with him, then at the slightest promise of âharmonyâ and âbalanceâ and whatever, she just immediately jumps right back on board. Is she really that dumb??
5. Lucifer. Lucifer has been my favourite character for years now. I love his sass, the presence Mark P. brought with him, his assertive and confident air and voice, his little gestures and silly, mocking facial expressions, all of it. I love all of it. Yet, in the latest episode, all of that was missing. His presence wasnât loud and assertive, his voice was quiet and passive, there were no gestures or silly faces, his sass didnât come across well because his confident, compelling voice was missing. His stance was all wrong as well. He was more wrapped up in himself (not in an egotistical way). No flailing arms or little hand gestures, no wide leg stance. He lacked everything that made Lucifer, Lucifer. He was missing everything that forged Lucifer as his character and his character alone. Maybe it was because the show is ending or maybe because he was called in for a role that was incredibly short (at max, he had about 5 minutes screen time), I donât know. But what I do know is that what was presented was not Lucifer. And it was oddly jarring. It took me out of their world for the rest of the episode (which sounds really dumb but I donât care). I love Mark Pellegrino as an actor and he will forever be the only Lucifer to me (do not talk to me about Rick Springfieldâs little stint), but his performance in the latest episode kind of ruined it for me.
6. Another complaint with Luciferâs role, was it really necessary to bring him back from the dead? I get he was needed for Jack to absorb or consume his power, but I was very much not okay after his previous death (both when Luci died and when Jack burnt Nick to a crisp) and I was so ecstatic and happy when Dean opened the bunker door and Lucifer was on the other side. I let out the loudest shriek of happiness and elation (my niece literally complained that I was âtoo loudâ) with the biggest grin on my face only for him to be killed less than five minutes later. It hurt every time before and it hurts now. Thank you people whom I have forgotten the names of that wrote and directed the latest episode, you have once again broken my heart. I hope youâre proud of yourselves.
7. Onto the finale. The final episode hasnât aired yet but you can already tell where the show is going. I was expecting this show to go out with a bang. Everyone dies because only then is their job really over but nooo. It has to be a nice, sunny, happy ending. This show started with darkness, it should end the same way. Go out in a pit of black or a flaming ball of fury. A nice big âF*** YOU WE WONâT KNEEL EVEN IN THE FACE OF DEATHâ to Chuck or something. Donât get me wrong, I love that Chuck now has to suffer like everyone else but I would have much preferred he take everyone and everything out in a massive power bomb or something. Jack walking away didnât feel like an end, it felt like a lead up to something else. Something more. Not that weâre going to get that because the show is over.
I know it was basically a surprise to all of the actors and actresses that the show is ending and theyâre angry and sad (which they have every right to be, they lost their jobs) but why make it a bad ending for everyone that has loved this show for years? Why make it bad for the people that have stuck around since the first season? Why do this to everyone that has stuck with them through thick and thin? Supernatural has not gotten the ending that it deserves and that greatly upsets me.
It has been quite a while since Iâve been on here but I come with relatively exciting news. If youâve seen my previous posts about the âPickensâ Palaceâ and liked them, this might be exciting news. I am making a NEW Pickensâ Palace. Itâs still very much a work in progress since Iâve only decorated a few rooms and Iâm still working on the exterior. I didnât like how bare and drab the exterior of the original is so for the new palace, I took inspiration from the Marble Court at Versailles. So far it is much, much better looking and Iâm having a lot of fun decorating. The back garden will still have the big âPickensâ written in it but I want to incorporate flowers and walk ways and whatnot. Maybe I could turn the big âPickensâ into the walkways and decorate around it with flowers and fountains. I donât know. If you have any suggestions, feel free to tell me. Iâm always open to other ideas. I think I might make a room look like the room Jim has is the Tomodachi Life series. Could be fun idk.
Today she would be 201. She was born 24 May 1819 and given the name Alexandrina Victoria. My sister and I will be celebrating her birth and life by wearing white (Queen Victoria popularized the white wedding dress), wearing lots of jewelry (just from the portrait above that she loved jewelry), and we will be baking a cake under the disguise that it is for my sisterâs fatherâs birthday because he was also born on 24 May.
The portrait above was painted by court favourite, Franz Xaver Winterhalter. It was given to Prince Albert by Queen Victoria in 1847, to mark seven years of their marriage.

This is going to be really long and it has to be done in increments because Tumblr only lets you put 10 pictures in one post so brace yourself.
I know this house is a bit outdated now regarding the recent development s in Kevinâs Sims series but I wanted to do a more in depth look at the âPickens Palace.â In total, this house has 63 rooms. It took me three days to make this house. There were a lot of complications when uploading it to the Gallery so half of the flower bushes are missing out front. It says there are 9 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms but there are actually 12 bedrooms and 8 bathrooms. Weâll start with the basement like last time.
Shrekâs Garden and Bedroom - Not much to say here... Itâs just terrible.
Prisonerâs Rooms - Plenty of room on the walls for a painting of the Dear Leader.
Vault + Entrance to Prisoner Commons + Time Out Room - Vault for napping in your money, dirty carpet, and a room for when your prisoners misbehave.
Fountain Square - Itâs spring in the game so everything is kind of dead but I promise itâs pretty.
Backyard - For the Dear Leader.
Graveyard - For the bodies.
Time for the actual house. Weâre going from the ground floor up to the third floor.
Entrance + Stairs - I had to find a way to fill a space that shouldnât have much in it so thereâs a bunch of art on the walls and a bunch of little tables filled with flowers and small sculptures.
Bathroom on the Left - Just a standard, fancy bathroom.
Disco Room - For when you want a techno/club like party instead of a ball.
Music Room - Where you learn an instrument or four.
Happy Saint Patrickâs Day! Today is the last day of Seachtain na Gaeilge (Irish Language Week). If you didnât know, the traditional spelling of Patrick is PĂĄdraig (there are other spellings but, as far as I have found, this is the most common). Dia is Muire agus PĂĄdraig duit!

Two fabulous movies like this are âThe Boyâ (Director: William Brent Bell) and âWithinâ (Director: Philip Claydon), also known as âCrawlspace.â Itâs been four years and Iâm still afraid of the guy from âWithin.â
Yesterday I listened to âSix: The Musicalâ for the first time, thoroughly enjoyed it, and got inspired to draw. My favourite wife of King Henry VIII has always been Anne of Cleves and I love her song in the musical so sheâs who Iâm drawing. Definitely not finished and the headdress is just a *TAD* daunting.. Excuse the tip of my thumb in the bottom left corner, I had to hold the edge of the paper down. I havenât decided if Iâm going to colour her or not. Iâm honestly quite proud of her so far. I hate drawing faces but Iâm actually okay with hersâ even if she isnât symmetrical. No fancy art tools used here, just a few stubby HB2 pencils and an unsharpened one because the others donât have erasers. That headdress is genuinely daunting... Have you ever zoomed in on it? Not only is there embroidery but there are also hundreds of pearls and little tiny details that my stubby pencils arenât sharp enough for. Iâm going to have to find one of my pencil sharpeners for that.. My drawing of her headdress is a lot bigger than the original portraitsâ so hopefully I wonât struggle too bad.
