How does it feel that you'll never see Mars again, Cu Chulainn has taken your place with Inari and your children don't care to see you

She’s still wearing the dress Inari crafted for her whilst hearing these words – and a smile was painted on her face. Although, it was obvious – the smile was fake.

In reality, her heart…ached. She was told by both Inari and Cu that this was false, there was room for her – always. She believed them, or at least – she thought she did. Perhaps it is not the words of them that hurts her – but rather, the comment of Mars and her children. 

…The smile quickly faded. “..Painful.”

Ah – but she thought for a moment. “Though, perhaps if one of them was unable to battle, I would happily accept the Emperor of Roses by mine side for battle – for I share her appearance, her body hath given me proper form. It would be quite strange for her, surely. Mm..and I would happily battle by Mars’ side, along with Cupid.”

Here she comes— Walking right on up to the goddess and taking hold of her face. Cheeks cupped in the foxes palms, Inari closes the distance between them and delivers a rather passionate smooch before pulling back with a satisfied look and sigh, “ I have not done that enough today..~”

The passionate smooch was always welcome from her betrothed, she would forever accept such a gift – however, after Inari had pulled away she gave a pout; especially at her words. 

“Y-You’ve not done that enough at all!” Of course, the pout was SOMEWHAT a jest, she always CRAVED more kisses and loving from her wife. Nonetheless, she smiled and wrapped her arms around the taller woman – pulling her even closer and lifting herself up via the tips of her toes – sure, Inari was not much taller; but they still held a slight height difference, as Venus was just properly to her shoulders without heels. 

..Ah, but whilst she was standing on her tips, she could not help but stare into Inari’s eyes. “Mine love – …nevermind. Please continue to hold me.” ..And then, Venus pressed her lips against Inari’s to make sure she didn’t say anything about her pause.

   Just like that the ginger would try to force up a smile for the sake of the blonde at her side, even with the fact she knew it was pointless trying to hide things.
