Oh the urge to turn gorgeous and problematic in your late twenties/early thirties
it is a good life we lead, brother.
Basim from AC Mirage
each time ubisoft releases a new ac game or information about the future games, i get more and more disappointed with their approach especially to the modern day story and basically putting their main characters in the trash
Hear me out... Hytham but he has a mullet.
Wasn't gonna drink t2night but I just rememberd the wasted potential of Basim and hythams relationship and Hythams part in valhalla
There ain't no way a white colonizer with the same name is more loved in this fandom
what im saying, could've made the story much less shit
a silent hour
mentor
Replayed Mirage recently (beat permadeath on Ultimate Assassin :)) and remembered how funny this mission is.
the fact he was tempted
Basim, who is a self-professed poetry enjoyer, pretends to not know what a stanza is because he doesn't want to help. Makira really annoyed him bossing him around so he is playing smart by playing dumb.
my favorite mission in mirage honestly, too funny
Basim my glorious king they could never make me hate you
not many hytham posts on here lately :(

so glad this game isnt being shut down with dialogue like this
hang on.. basim as a pirate... saying piratey things... and mocking edward....
Basim: "instead of eagle vision, you should have PARROT vision! ... cuz ye a pirate!" (he would be proud of that one)
"Hytham knew he couldn't win, but he felt no shame in admitting he loved watching Basim move... the swords connecting their bodies like life threads." The Golden City, Jaleigh Johnson.
This is during the final fight scene between Basim and Hytham, a culmination of tension. I love how Johnson writes the fight scenes -- the drama, the emotion, how she captures Basim's toying and how hard Hytham has to work to match him.
promise when im done w exams this will come out of the WIP phase... maybe
That moment when Qabiha places her three fingers on Basim Ibn Ishaq’s chest and tells him “We will set you free”…
She wasn’t talking to Basim at all. She was talking to Loki.
