something people donât talk about enough: both extremes in autism
almost every autistic trait has something to do with extremes, and for most of them, autistic people can be on either end of the scale. sometimes this is for hyper/hypo sensitivity reasons, and sometimes itâs due to overcompensation.
examples of some typical autistic traits and their equally austistic counterparts:
no empathy? how about having such extreme empathy that you cry when your stuffed animals are ignored?
no/wrong facial expressions? how about exaggerated facial expressions because you learned early on you were doing it wrong?
nonverbal? how about being hyperverbal and not knowing when to stop talking?
highly advanced vocabulary? how about when you canât remember common everyday words in conversation?
canât tell when things are awkward? how about having such an sensitivity to awkwardness that you can barely stand being in the room when an awkward moment happens on tv?
has a meltdown over a small tag on their shirt? how about being so oblivious to physical sensations that you donât know you broke a bone?
doesnât follow social norms? how about a strict adherence to social norms, often accompanied by severe anxiety that youâre not doing it right?
canât stand bright lights and loud noises? how about pressing lights so close to your eyes that youâre temporary blinded and constantly making noises when it gets too quiet?
no eye contact? how about intense, sustained eye contact that you donât know when to break?
constantly rocking back and forth? how about being unable to walk without getting disoriented?
remember this when people say âyou donât seem autisticâ - there is no quintessential autistic representation. this is what we mean when we say itâs a spectrum.
and yes, as several people have noted, one can easily bounce back and forth between both extremes depending on the day, time, context, health, age, etc.
As someone with Autism, this is a very accurate post.

The houses role in Astrology 2â¨
& a breakdown of the modalities, elements, 4 sections of the chart, & the MC, ASC, DC, & IC.
This post is Part 2 of my âThe Houses role in Astrologyâ posts. Part 1 explains the house wheel & breaks down each of the 12 houses. In this post I will be breaking down the different divisions of the house wheel by going through the quadrants, the elements, & the modalities briefly. Part 1 here.
Quadrants - What are they? There are twelve houses & four quadrants. This means that 3 houses make up 1 Quadrant. The quadrants are basically four sections of the house wheel that can tell you a lot about the direction in which your life is focused. If you have a lot of planetary energy in one or two quadrants, then that can tell you a lot about the focus of your energy. If you have planets all over the place, that can also tell youâre a bit scattered in direction or that youâre balanced in all areas of life.
â¨Quadrant 1 (Awareness of Self): 1-3
The first Quadrant refers to houses 1-3 which are primarily self focused houses. Having a lot of energy focused in this Quadrant can indicate that in this lifetime, your purpose is to really hone in on your personality & yourself. Info on Quadrant 1 here.
â¨Quadrant 2 (Integration w/ Environmnt): 4-6
The Second Quadrant refers to houses 4-6 which are primarily environment related houses. Having a lot of energy within this Quadrant can indicate thereâs a lot of focus on your foundation, home life, routine, creativity & self expression, & your relationships with your mother, family, & children. In this life itâs heavily emphasized that you really develop through your relationships with those closest to you and you really work on building a foundation thatâs comfortable for you. Routine, the arts, & comfort are a big theme within this Quadrant as well. Info on Quadrant 2 here.
â¨Quadrant 3 (Awareness of Others): 7-9
The Third Quadrant refers to houses 7-9 which are primarily relationship & people oriented houses. Having a lot of energy within this Quadrant can indicate that thereâs a really big focus in this life to learn through your relationships with others. You most often feel like yourself when youâre around others & the more you meet new people or spend your time with others, the more you learn about yourself and the environment around you. A really big part of this life is to learn about partnership and working with others. Info on Quadrant 3 here.
â¨Quadrant 4 (Integrarion w/ Society): 10-12
The Fourth Quadrant refers to houses 10 - 12 which are primarily humanitarian & society oriented houses. In this lifetime thereâs a lot of focus to really learn and expand through friendship, society, & healing. These people are very goal oriented & they have a lot of focus on their career, goals, & things that are highly important to society or âthe bigger picture.â Info on Quadrant 4 here.

What are the modalities? There are 3 different modalities (cardinal, Fixed, & Mutable). The modalities within the wheel chart are called âAngularâ which corresponds with cardinal energy, âSuccedentâ which corresponds with Fixed energy, & âCadentâ which corresponds with Mutable energy. If you are not familiar with cardinal, Fixed, & Mutable energy than look here for reference. My post on the modalities is here.
â¨Angular Houses: 1, 4, 7, & 10
The Angular Houses corresponds with the Cardinal signs - Aries (1), Cancer (4), Libra (7), & Capricorn (10). These houses are more so about the âactionâ in life & they showcase a lot about you and your relationship with others. The first house is the house of self, the 4th house is the house of your upbringing, the 7th house is the house of interpersonal relationships, & the 10th house is the house of your goals and dreams. More info on the Angular Houses here.
â¨Succedent Houses: 2, 5, 8, & 11
The Succedent Houses correspond with the Fixed signs - Taurus (2), Leo (5), Scorpio (8), & Aquarius (11). These houses are mainly about possessions & resources which ultimately goes to this idea of âsecurity.â More info on the Succedent Houses here.
â¨Cadent Houses: 3, 6, 9, & 12
The Cadent Houses correspond with the Mutable signs - Gemini (3), Virgo (6), Sagittarius (9), & Pisces (12). The Cadent Houses are all about our though process and why we do the things we do. The 3rd house is all about communication and lower education, the 6th house is about service and routine, the 9th house is about philosophy, religion, & higher education, and the 12th house is about our dreams, subconscious, & fears. More info on the Cadent Houses here.

What are the Elements? There are four different elements within Astrology (fire, Earth, Water, & Air). Each element has corresponding qualities & those different elemental qualities will reflect in the houses. Info on the elements here for reference.
â¨Fire Houses: 1, 5, & 9
The fire houses - Aries (1), Leo (5), & Sagittarius (9) - are houses that involve action, energy, & the experience of being/feeling âaliveâ which all in turn leads to this idea of Idenity. 1st house is the house of self, 5th house is the house of self expression, creativity, & âfun,â & the 9th house is the house of religion, philosophy, travel, & our beliefs. More info here.
â¨Earth Houses: 2, 6, & 10
The Earth Houses - Taurus (2), Virgo (6), & Capricorn (10) - are houses that involve routine, comfort, & this idea of money & stability. The 2nd house is about finances, possessions, & values, the 6th house is about service & routine, the 10th house is career, our goals, & our dreams. More info here.

â¨Water Houses: 4, 8, & 12
The water houses - Cancer (4), Scorpio (8), & Pisces (12) - are all houses that involve death? Rebirth, the subconscious, & overall this spiritual/âpsychicâ essence. The 4th house is our roots (involving death/resting place), the 8th house is rebirth, death, & destruction, and the 12th house is illusion, the subconscious, & dreams. More info here.
More info on the elements here, here, & here.
Please be mindful that these are the most brief & basic of interpretations in order to get you started on the idea of these divisions. I have some helpful links to help & there are also other ways to divide the chart - these are just the three basic beginner ones that I found were the easiest to learn.
The chart image used is from here. Part 1 here.

I like this.
You literally pulled this right out of your ass. Not one word of it is true. Holy shit.
Now, it IS harder to find a doc willing to do it for someone that young and without kids/unmarried; which yes, I can understand the frustration with that scenerio, but itâs not due to some hot take on sexism. Not only is tubal litigation more invasive and risky as a surgery than vasectomy, but the younger you are when you have your tubes tied, the more likely it is for the method to fail due to your tubes unraveling or healing, and thus increasing risk of a tubal pregnancy should conception occur. And similar procedures of sterlization such as Essure have shown to be GREATLY damaging to the womanâs reproductive tract and overall health.
And donât even get me started on the dark eugenics roots of sterilization, which many minority and other vulnerable people groups have to live with as generational trauma, forced sterilization that is still happening in different ways around the world as we speak.
These âââfeministsâââ need to stop acting like they know a thing or two about reproductive health, when they clearly care more about being convenient cum buckets than actually wanting to give women the dignity they deserve in the world of medical care.
Isnât this also part of why they wonât remove the uterus of someone younger than like 35 unless there is an absolute life threatening reason to?
I know the reproductive system affects our health a lot more than people seem to be aware of, especially for women. (And yes, there is a hormonal effect of the menstrual cycle on womenâs emotions which is why women have irrationally emotional responses to things. Also why birth control and other hormone altering medications should not be available without a prescription/doctorâs care because HORMONES WILL FUCK YOU UP SIDEWAYS if youâre not careful with them)
Also the uterus occupies SPACE LEADING TO AN ORIFACE. That oriface doesnât have a sphincter! The cervix is the only shit keeping things shut.
If you remove all that, it is a huge possibility your organs will start sliding downwards, and eventually just, poke right out! And then you have to get a correctional mesh to hold shit up. (surgery), and there are tons of complications that can surround that leading to more surgeries and ailments.
Your urterus/ovaries/vaginas/cervix are an entire organ system, and a huge part of your endocrine system. Be nice to them
You could just get Nexplanon or the countless other forms of birth control these days! Come on it's 2019 folks!
