B. Dandridge Action Shots
Selected in the fourth round of the 1969 NBA draft, 6'6 forward Bob Dandridge didn't immediately stand out amongst his peers, the likes of Lew Alcindor (Kareem Abdul-Jabbar) & Oscar Robertson. However, time would soon reveal that Dandridge had immense talent and skill to bring to Milwaukee. His rookie season, he averaged 13.2 points, 7.7 rebounds, & 3.6 assists per game, playing a major role in the Bucks '70-71 championship run. In his best season (1976-77), Bob averaged 21.5 points a game. He moved to Washington and made his mark there as well as they won a championship in the '77-78 season. He scored an astonishing 450 points in four NBA finals over 23 games, more points than anyone in the Finals during the 70s. In '79 he notably scored 109 points for the Bullets. He then retired in the '80-81 season and was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2021.
