Construction of Chemical Bank of New York at 277 Park Avenue, in January 1964, when the building was nearing completion. The Pan Am Building (Emery Roth & Sons-Walter Gropius-Pietro Belluschi, 1963) are at left and the Union Carbide Building (Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, 1960, demolished in 2021) can be seen just behind the new tower.
