Q: Is this a cringe account?
A: Nope! my intention here isn't to mock the video creators or call them "cringe"; I just find the self indulgent weirdness of this era of fandom to be really endearing and charming and nostalgic! I might poke fun sometimes but mostly I just want to capture the vibe from early 2000s/2010s internet fandom! Especially bc so much from that era has been deleted/lost to time, so I guess this account is a bit of an archive in that sense. Tl;dr this isn't a cringe account; it's a nostalgia account
Q: why don't you post links to the source?
A: Honestly? Because people are assholes sometimes and I don't want people commenting on the original videos and mocking the creators. I might post a link occasionally if I think the video isn't the type to get hateful comments though. DM me if you want the link for your own reference!
Q: my video is on here and I want it taken down
A: okay! DM me and I'll take it down no questions asked
Q: what qualifies as "vintage"?
A: basically anything pre-dashcon. So videos that are from 2013 or older!
Submission Guidelines:
- video must be at least 7 years old (preferably 10+ years old) or your own vid
- submit YouTube links or drive mp4 links etc
- nothing weird pls (no incest/underage)
- lmk if your video is on here and you want it taken down
- doesnt have to be yaoiz or anime!
