"I like laying with you." He blurts, looking off to the side where the sea meets the sky once more. "I like spending hours speaking about anything and everything, turning it into nothing and then something. I... I want to keep doing that... with you." He shakes his head like he isn't making himself clear enough. "Just you... for the rest of forever."

He nods without hesitation. “I’ll stay as long as you need.”

‘Forever’ He thinks, closing his eyes and reaching out for him.

Whoops. That didn't go well.

Charlie took the news well, but telling their parents is something entirely different. Charlie is certain his mother will handle the news okay but Bailee is terrified of her father.

She didn't think this would happen. She doesn't know what to do.

I simply couldn't help myself and now here we are.

Charlie and Bailee didn't get along at first but Bailee's persistence and Charlie's curiosity get the better of the two of them until before they know it they are flirting in spite of each other.
