The sound of something banging against some sort of thick surface had become normal to Violet. Whether she was the one banging her fists against the glass or someone doing it in the cage next to her. Horizon, the place was white, purely, as if it were supposed to prevent evil from coming, but really, the only thing pure about this place was the evil. At least, by now she was used to being trapped in this place, she didn't like it, but she wasn't going to waste energy anymore and she thought the others had agreed. Annoyed by the sound, Violet opened her eyes and turned her head, opening her mouth to tell the person to just stop. But then her blurry vision focused on the figure that was slumped on the ground next to her cage. When she realized who it was, her eyes widened in horror. Imogen. Imogen. Why was she here? How did she get here? Before Violet could say anything, some scientists walked into her sister's room and started dragging her away, while she was screaming. "No!" Violet shouted, quickly getting to her feet and rushing to the glass, now banging on it with her own fists. "Bring her back! Bring her back now! Imogen!"
Violet sat up quickly, her body completely tense and covered in sweat. She whipped her head around quickly, still hearing the sound of a fist colliding with a wall of glass in her mind, getting louder and louder. It took her a second to realize that the noise was her heart. Obviously shaken up, the woman got up and paced around her room, unable to get the image of her sister's horrified face out of her mind. Every time she glanced at the bed a gross, sickening feeling appeared in her gut, so she just decided to go for a walk. The hallways were quiet, something that she would normally enjoy, but now it was something that made her hyper aware of everything. Then Violet heard a noise, and she froze. The noise echoed around everywhere, making it hard to figure out where the noise was coming from, if the person was close or far away. Paranoid, the woman pressed her hand against the silver bracelet on her wrist and absorbed the material so that from the tips of her fingers to her elbow was pure silver. Just as she was getting ready to throw a punch, she heard something right behind her and spun around. "What the fuck?"
