a cat is a sort of machine that dispenses hair all over you and everything else in the room
You’re allowed to be excited about the little things. You’re allowed to be goofy. You’re allowed to be dorky about your favorite tv show, to make blanket forts, to enjoy cheesy movies, even just to sleep with stuffed animals. You’re allowed to do any of the things that make life a little more bearable. It’s fine, ok?

i feel strongly about this
Please don't forget about loveless people this pride month. Love doesn't make us human. People don't need to love in "other" ways to be valid. Some people are aplatonic, some afamilial, some asensual, some are heartless. They still belong. Abolish conformity and the idea that someone needs to be something specific to belong at pride.
Happy Pride everyone, today is the tenth anniversary of the nationwide right to gay Marriage in the United States and the 22nd anniversary of nationwide legalization of Gay Sex. In 2 days is the 56th anniversary of the Stonewall Uprising.
We have won nothing without fighting and we have everything to lose, there is no gay liberation without trans liberation, none of us are free till all of us are free, we have won so much and come so far but the road ahead is still long, we must continue to fight for both our liberation and the liberation of all people
The gay liberation movement is young, everything we have fought for and won happened over the course of less than a human lifetime, and there are forces at play that wish to claw back at these hard fought for rights, we must be prepared to defend what we have fought for and we must continue to fight for improvement
We have to celebrate how far things have come, because we never would have made it this far without joy and hope, and while we can and must fight, we also must remain hopeful
This year is:
11 years since nationwide gay marriage in the US
23 years since sodomy was legalized
57 years since Stonewall
idk I just think the world should be a little kinder to disabled people
idk I just think the world should be a little kinder to disabled people
happy pride month for it/its users, polyamorous people, xenogenders, non-transitioning trans people, and other "weird" identities. btw
ANALYSIS: As a community, we talk a good talk about keeping each other safe, so why aren’t we doing it now?
Rice Shower ‼️
RICE SHOWER !!!!!! (and her gay ass girlfriend) I hope u like the sketch!! Also wanted to use this post to say some stuff (under the cutoff):
Oh by the way if you use they/them for someone who has explicitly told you not to, it's still misgendering even if you think you're being woke about it
"wasted potential" you are still living!!! your potential is still here, you can carry on
ok u see this is why i cant think bc now im distracted about it all but i really do like turning this one overin my mind palace LOL
like if im walking around in a dress i am significantly more likely 2 be called a faggot or whatever because theyve read me as a feminine cis gay man. but if im disabled visibly somehow = incompatible with cis manhood i am more likely to get called trans specific slurs bc they see disability as feminine and thus read me as a feminine trans guy. this is not hyperbole to be clear this is in fact my experiences i have had personally
but either way im experiencing some form of specific gendering and bigotry so theres no line to draw there but the manner in which this is being enacted upon me there IS a line 2 draw bc the specific ways my transness socially intersects w being disabled r very unique to the ways my transness is received socially if i am not perceived as being disabled. so where do u hash it out nd draw the line yknow
or equally like. being subjected to multiple forms of body politics that u cannot meet the requirements of. like i do not fit the perfect ablebodied narrative but equally bc everything is informed by that i do not fit the ideal transmasc body narrative bc i am inherently ousted from that bc i am disabled. like u literally just cannot talk about one without the other. u cannot talk about idealised body standards by saying "yyuuuup. trans men are held 2 diff standards than cis men r" without also acknowledging where a LOT of those standards come from and without acknowledging all the disabled trans men who r "failures" on both fronts for both their transness and disability
and P.S. it differs again if ur not always visibly disabled bc u fall in between Again. and u r treated in New and Different ways! but i dont want to touch on that as much bc while that used 2 b my experience it is of course not Now and i will always be perceived as physically disabled regardless these days but i do think it really gets complex again if ur not always read as disabled or if the nature of it fluctuates or if it might be hidden sometimes
dan and phil as ur banner? what r u gay or something? raised eyebrow emoji smh my head
I want the record to show that the person who sent me this ask is the one who chose my banner photo for me
old folks were right about one thing it feels good as fuck to go "ugghh" whenever you sit down and stand up.
