Hope you follow them and enjoy their artwork!
Polina Osipova, Untitled, taken from her instagram @polinatammi 2020.
Osipova was born and raised in Cheboksary, the capital city of the Chuvashia region in western Russia. Growing up, she says, âthe fusion of traditional Chuvash culture, Soviet past, and [the] turbulent history of Russia [in the] â90s has definitely left its mark on me.âÂ
Polina Osipova, My Favourite Photo in My Favourite Chuvash Costume, taken from her instagram @polinatammi May 2021.
She is a 23-year old Saint Petersburg-based artist who creates stunning jewelry and embroidery works. She models her own creations, posting selfies on her instagram.Â

âLittle stories of my ethnicity from the depths of Russia. The poetry of Chuvash embroidery and the symbols encoded in it.â
Sasha Samsonova, untitled flower portrait (March 15, 2020).
This is âprobably my favorite image from the flower series,â Samsonova said. âIt feels sexual, coming of age, female, and ultimately expressive. I took the soft part of a passion fruit and ran it through a blender, mixed in some red paint and here we are.âÂ
Her flower photographs âneeded to be large, letting you dive into the detail of each petal, the way it connected to the core of the flower, how it decayed and lost its color.â
Sasha Samsonova, Arame Fall, yet untitled photo portrait (Oct. 16, 2020)
Self-taught Samsonova studied the work and processes of Helmut Newton and Richard Avedon. âI just try to translate what fascinates me about the things I see into photographs,â Samsonova said.
Sasha Samsonova, Kylie Jenner, yet untitled photo portrait, 2015.Â
Sheâs collaborated with a wide array of brands and photographed celebrities, including Kylie Jenner, Kendall Jenner, Ciara, Teyana Taylor, Chrissy Teigen, John Legend, Tinashe, Kelly Rowland, Hailey Bieber, Emma Roberts, Khloe Kardashian, Rosalia, Sofia Richie, Maye Musk, Travis Scott, Pyper America, Bebe Rexha, Pink, Normani, Kourtney Kardashian, and Jessica Alba. Jon Henry, Untitled #48, Inglewood, CA (2019)
Stranger Fruit was created in response to the senseless murders of black men across the nation by police violence. Even with smart phones and dash cams recording the actions, more lives get cut short due to unnecessary and excessive violence.
Jon Henry is a visual artist working with photography and text, from Queens NY (resides in Brooklyn). His work reflects on family, sociopolitical issues, grief, trauma and healing within the African American community.
