Four Abodes VR Experience for Elderly!
Yay ! Thanks a bunch for this experience. This is a short compilation of our process. Hope you monkeys like it ;) Virtual Bananas, are off to be eaten now xoxo
Mini challenge 2 :)
Kela Amigos! Here is our design documentation, where we share our journey on how we designed a VR travel experience to the most desired places to travel by the elderly, which is Four Abodes (Char Dham Yatra).
Each destination has a meditation/prayer space with the environment design like that temple and a social sitting space, where they could virtually interact with their friends.
There are other feature activities like, singing, painting or even adventure sports like rafting.
Empathising with the elders and understanding what is the exact thing they wish for, for building resilience, and remove the loneliness, the pandemic has caused them, is to achieve enlightenment and liberation.
The main reason to design a VR experience was to make it easier for them to use the product. Since AR, VR is the future and major population will start moving towards AR glasses, (there would be no phone), so making the elders shift to a phone device, introducing them to mobile apps and then shifting to glasses would confuse them even further. So our ultimate solution was to prepare them for the change that will be the future.
Mini Challenge 3 :D
4:34 am The virtual bananas are going bananaaasssss amigos’, for real XDDD
Here, is the representation for the same happening to one of our member ‘Anshika’ the thinker banana, who’s duck taped with the creative block. Well, utilising for the whole, atleast we can expect 10X returns than that of our fellow mate banana being ducked.. hehe
Nobody is exempt from the trials of life, but everyone can find something positive in everything, even in the worst of times.

Kela Amigos! Presenting you the official logo of 'Virtual Banana'. We made this, keeping in mind the field of interest of our team and what we believe is vivid for the world we imagine. The color palette with different colours highlights our interest in immersive, colourful creative designs and differed critical thinking approach through fun thinking process. The overall logo is in a shape of topsy turvy banana with a VR headset on and peeling from all the four sides, representing each one of us with different thinking and styles, and when come together, it gives the whole banana a reason to stay fresh, just like our designs ;) Can't wait to create some wonderful experiences for our users and go all bananasss 🍌💃🏽
