do a fluffy oneshot(or headcanons, i don't care.) on how the forsaken survivors would take care of reader if spectre turned them into a baby for a day? (It’d be nice if you also added in their shock because of the major differences between a pill baby and a human infant ^_^) hhhhhhh
👶Forsaken!Survivors with Baby!Human!Reader👶
Context: Survivors are Robloxians. Reader is Human. Humans are more complicated than Robloxians.
The "day" began like any other...except something felt...off. The moment breakfast was being served by Elliot, the other survivors had taken notice that the local human hadn't shown up for breakfast.
Concern floated about between the survivors and Builderman decided that he would go and check on the human in their private makeshift resting area in the lobby.
However, the moment he pulled back the curtain to look for their larger-than-life companion...color him surprise when he finds a VERY small version of a human looking back at him with a pair of tired orbs in the nest of pillows.
Builderman: He was completely shocked by what he was looking at. Did you...did you get reverted into an infant while they were all sleeping?! He gently reaches out and grabs up the heavy infant before pulling you close to his chest. After that, he was quick to hurry back into the kitchen to alert the others to the situation. Once he walked into the kitchen with the little bundle in his arms, the kitchen went into an uproar and the baby became startled and nuzzled deeper into his chest. He feels a strange protective instinct surge forth as he tells the others to calm down and be quiet. It was quite a sudden mood change for him, but he protectively holds the little one close as he glares at the other Survivors for being too loud.
Shedlesky: Shed was in the middle of eating a morning chicken biscuit the moment Builderman walked in with an infant in his arms. His expression quickly became shocked and the biscuit fell from his hand back onto his plate, as he let out an overly dramatic "WHAAAAAT" towards Builderman. The others also let out a chorus of shock and awe when Builderman walked in with the baby clinging to his black hoodie, but Shed had to hold in a laugh as Builderman was quick to get agitated at the sudden increase in noise level that startled the baby he was carrying. Heh...classic David. Shed was quick to come over and investigate the little one. It took some time, but the little one eventually looked away from Builderman and looked towards Shed. My...what big eyes you have, little birdie! You were just sooo cute!
Dusekkar: Dusekkar was the second to approach before he analyzes the situation and suspected, in his typical rhyming fashion, that the Specter was behind your sudden change back into infancy. Still, despite how much it threw everyone off this "morning", Dusekkar silently took the opportunity to look at how your race's young develop. Instead of typical pill babies, your race's young seemed to already have their limbs and extremities, even at this young of age. It was quite fascinating to watch you wriggle and kick your feet in David's arms...and if a little bit cute. Yet, even while you're this small, he can still feel the arcane magic bubbling just underneath your soft plump skin...hopefully there won't be any mishaps while you're in this state.
Elliot: This man was immediately put on edge because he has NEVER fed a baby before...let alone a HUMAN one! What do you eat at this stage in your life?? What is SAFE for you to consume at this stage in life?! Elliot can only mentally run his mind ragged as he tries to think of something you can eat on. Thank goodness for Guest 1337 having SOME experience in raising a child, as he merely instructed Elliot to blend up some fruits and veggies into a nice smooth paste to feed the youngin. It definitely calmed his nerves once he made some puree for you to gobble up, and he can't help but snicker while your face was dripping with the puree he just made. You're a very messy eater while you're this young! Maybe he should take a photo or two so he can show you later on!
007n7: He was quite familiar with raising a child, so he gets to be primary babysitter when the other members of the Survivors are busy doing something else. In a strange sense of deja vu, Sev finds himself reflecting on things he did with Coolkid when he was a baby. How he lived on cup noodles after college and fed his little red baby all the unhealthy things he was eating...and it made him feel guilty about not being a better parent. Still, Sev can only sit with you and watch as you play with your makeshift toys (a paper airplane, a yarn ball, and an old shoe) with a sense of fleeting nostalgia. He can't help but give a small smile when you decided you had enough of your "toys" and would crawl back to his lap for comfort. It made giving you to your next babysitter pretty hard for him to do...he just didn't want to give you up!
Chance: Chance was mostly a last ditch babysitter, as he was mostly irresponsible and didn't have Builderman's approval to watch the human baby over a set period of time. But there does come a moment where EVERYONE but Chance was busy, so they are quickly settled with the little one until someone else can become available. Chance is a pretty okay caretaker, though he does tend to lose you a LOT in the cabin. I mean, you both shared a space for just a moment before Chance caught you trying to make your way to the stairs...then again, he was mostly focused on the slot machine during that time. He does think you're a little cute, though. However, the moment nature calls and you need a change, Chance is quick to pawn you off to someone else so they can deal with the fallout.
Two Time: Two Time is a great caretaker...probably too great...and probably too clingy as well. They always love to take care of you when you are available to be swapped over to them, and nothing you do makes them flinch in their resolve of caring for you. If you want food? They will feed you. If you want a drink? They will give you warm milk. If you need a change? They do so without a single flinch. Two Time is completely unbothered by the grossness of infancy and they firmly believe that they are doing the "Spawn" a service by looking after the transformed "Messiah". However, Two Time becomes rather agitated when it's time for them to give up the kid to someone else. It becomes about as difficult as trying to get a dragon to part from its hoard of treasures. The others aren't worthy enough to take care of the Spawn's Emissary!
Noob: Noob is not high on the list of good candidates, mostly because of their constant uncertainty and lack of self-confidence. Putting a baby in their care would kind of be a gamble sometimes, but they DO try their best. Mostly, they like entertaining you with dolls or shiny things, as you seem to like the aluminum cans that bloxy cola come in for some odd reason. Even odder, your baby self seems to laugh hard whenever Noob crushes a can in their hands. Maybe it's the sound? The fact that it becomes smaller? Noob can't really tell, but it does make them smile when such a simple action gets you to roll onto your back while laughing in such a happy manner. Maybe babysitting isn't all that bad.
Taph: Taph isn't high on the list of candidates either, as they tend to handle loud and explosive devices, and Builderman doesn't want any mishaps to happen between the baby and a subspace mine. Still, there does come a time when most of the other Survivors are busy and they just need a quick overseer to watch the infant human. Taph is unsure how to go about babysitting the kid, as the two tend to stare at one another and just...watch each other. However, Taph does come across a rather interesting activity you two partake in! You seem to enjoy a little game of peek-a-boo with Taph! As Taph will hide their shadow-covered face with their head-wings, wait for you to become confused, before revealing their face to you again. You would always happily squeal and clap your hands in response to Taph's actions and the demolitionist can't help but laugh and clap along with their emoji speak. It was kind of fun being a babysitter!
Veeronica: Veeronica isn't really a babysitter, but more of an observer. She can only analyze the differences that the human infant has to regular Robloxian pill babies. You have all your limbs on your body already, little tuffs of hair on your head, short pudgy arms, a little nose, tiny ears, and tiiiiny fingers to grab onto things. It was quite a sight for Veeronica to simply watch you crawl along the floor on your belly and just live in the moment. Were all organic human babies like this? Small, helpless, fat, cute...she can only smile as you scoot across the floor in front of her-- picking up all the dust and dirt along the way...she should probably pick you up, because that can NOT be healthy for you to do.
Guest 1337: Guest is easily the best candidate out of all the survivors to take care of the human-turned-baby. His past experience with raising Charlotte has given him a well-rounded experience in looking after kiddos, so he tends to give advice or be the one that other Survivors go to when they don't know what to do with the little infant. Of course, he also becomes the target for those who can't deal with the kid anymore for one reason or another, a prime example being Chance ditching the kid on him when it comes time for a change. Yet, he only rolls his eyes and gets to work making the kid clean, happy, and healthy. Sometimes, when he looks down at the pudgy bundle of flesh in his arms, he thinks back to the time of when he held his daughter for the first time...and the memories bring back a sense of longing. He can only sit on the porch of the cabin, hold the little one against his chest, and look up into the endless dark sky that hovered above them all. He silently wonders how his family is doing without him...he can only hope that his wife and child are still thriving out there somewhere.
Jane Doe: Jane Doe rarely gets settled with the kid, as she tends to be a little standoffish in comparison to most of the other survivors. Still, the infant still tends to find a way to her, despite her distance. She only notices them when they latch onto her leg and look up at her with those big strange eyes they have. While hesitant, she eventually bends down and picks up the kid, and the kid seems to become jovial whenever she does so. It does bring her a little ray of sunshine in this endlessly dark hellhole, but it also makes her reflect on a prospect that she and John had promised each other. While holding the human infant, Jane remembers that John and her were eventually planning to have a little one of their own...before John went missing. Holding the little infant in her arms gives her a brief look into a reality that never came to be. It makes her feel hollow inside, but the flames of her determination still burn brightly in her gut. There is a future out there worth fighting for...and once all of this nonsense is over and done, maybe she and John will finally get back together and she will hold a little bundle that will belong to her and her husband one day. One day.
