what to say? my summer depression is getting pretty bad. im listening to steve lacy - doom which feels ... fitting. i keep drawing on the soles of my feet with a red pen. i have zero calligraphy skills but im always hoping some ancient, beautiful script will pour out of me and flow onto the soft canvas of my feet. maybe i'll be so overcome by this newfound talent that i just keep drawing.... up, up, up and up... past my ankles, beyond my thighs all the way up to my navel. it'll be like that japanese film, the pillow book. the one where she's laying seductively and a man starts painting calligraphy on her back. jet black ink for each sleek kanji character. did they use squid ink? everyone knows about the japanese and their strange octopus fetish. but you know, i don't kink shame. now that i think about it though.. well. none of this is what i really wanted to say
