Alright so after some experimentation I think I've found my favorite Stray Gods playthrough. It's not perfect but I think it's got the best balance of satisfying endings/events for everyone.
To get it I did the following (spoilers below):
Picked Blue at the start (important later on)
Didn't choose either Pan or Freddy. This seems to be the key to an important feature later on. I found the song most satisfying for this choice when you listen to Pan as your 2nd choice, listen to Freddy as your 3rd, and go hard red for everything else.
Flirted with Apollo, Pan and Freddy whenever I could before Pan's romance turning point.
Followed Apollo (mostly to yell at him, but honestly his presense just feels depressing for the rest of the game if you don't. Persephone is cool/has cool scenes either way).
Made up with Persephone by (blue choice) telling her she still needs me for her plans. Cause I just like playing mental chess with Persephone (she's my favorite romance).
Red choiced Aphrodite's song the whole way through (I fucking love the red version of her song, and it's got an important contribution later on)
Let Apollo down gently.
Introduced Freddy to Hecate (this seems to be the way to make Freddy Hecate's apprentice, which is my favorite ending for Freddy).
Got Asterion and Hecate together. Mostly through red choices but some blue at the end (though not the very end).
Romanced Pan (Yes, even though Persephone is my favorite this is the only way I could figure out to get him to come to Grace's apartment during the epilogue. He's also my 2nd favorite romance and favorite end song so...).
Got both Freddy and Pan to help me out at Medusa's lair, and snuck in through the window. I just love their bickering so so much during this scene. And I like the idea of them slowly developing a bantery friendship.
Told Medusa Apollo could help her. Also went pretty hard red for most of her song. But I picked the blue "You're working for Athena" when the choice came up and blue for the final choice.
Chose Green for my second style option before visiting Athena.
Was honest with Hecate (getting Freddy even more in her good books).
Told Hermes Freddy was in Hades.
Told Charon we'd play a game on the ride (VERY important, I just want happy Charon)
Gave Persephone her throne and then (green choice) told her to destroy it.
How I went about the throne song was important for the most satisfying experience imo. I went green for my first choice. Red for my next two (focus on Persephone, and "What's your beef with Persephone?"). Then I let Persephone speak, stopped her from attacking, let Oripheus speak, and finally gave Persephone the throne.
Revived Freddy (Greed Red Red for the song)
Let Freddy down with a Green choice.
Told Pan I saw right through him with a green choice (gotta make sure to tell him what happened). I feel that Pan reflecting on Grace's sacrifice is a key part of his character development.
Chose Green when the Furies are attacking during the trial song. (This specific choice correlates with the 3 other chrous members (green-Aphrodite, red-Persephone, blue-Apollo) and damnit that reprise of Everbody is so perfect.
Told Athena to step down.
Said I had ideas. (Blue option) during the final chorus meeting.
This finale has Pan rather than Aphrodite in the Chorus, and Persephone as temporary leader. Which is my favorite set up, temporary as it is. Aphrodite is still recovering from the "failed" ritual. She shouldn't be making major decisions atm. And Pan should honestly take some responsibility for once. Also I like the idea of Persephone as leader of the gods for a hot minute, just for the spite value.
This is the only finale I've played that had all four LI's in Grace's apartment during the epilogue. Which means more S-tier bickering from Freddy and Pan. It also confirms that Apollo is helping people (namely Athena and Medusa) in a way that doesn't involve prophecies, which I think is good for him.
Persephone is cagey about what she's up to, but given my experience from previous play throughs she's probably helping to fix up Hades (and maybe spending time with Calliope?). The important part for her is that she's claimed two now thrones and is moving on from both.
And as mentioned before, Freddy is Hecate's apprentice, which I love.
Overall a very satisfying ending, with my favorite musical options (where relevant) and story beats included.
my brother asked why I'm freaking out rn and I can't for the life of me find a normal way to say, "the safety bell above the grave of my favorite show (which has been dead in the ground for a year and a half) has just started ringing violently"

I LOVE casefics and I LOVE fics that explore how Pheonix and Edgeworth are just two weird middle-aged men completely unable to normal about each other or anything else, so this fic is a DELIGHT!!! Wrightworth make an honest attempt to go on a real adult date and manage to completely fuck it up in the most on-brand way possible and get embroiled in a muder investigation instead... though obviously, for these two blessed weirdos, investigating a murder together makes the date better. this fic has a brilliant case narrative, the most on-brand utterly groan-inducing names for side characters, and a really sweet and lovely progression of the Wrightworth relationship, feat. an enthusiastic Kay, a concerned Trucy, Maya there in text form only, and poor poor Ema who has to be there in person.
oh! and how could I forget, they have to infiltrate a night club as part of the investigation. want to see their outfits?
