Hey all. First thing I've really been able to draw in a long time. After our second dog passed I was just well I am still very much a mess. I can somewhat function better and talk about them without falling apart. Sometimes. We lost them both in May and so close together..since then we did get another dog though on my end it was a difficult choice. I was and still am afraid of being judged for adopting so soon after our loss but it was just too quiet..I hated it. You know for fourteen long years we had dog faces greeting us at the door. Barks, fur, full beds. Then just nothing. Instantly nothing. It hurt too much. So now I'm trying to hit the art block back and get something back on paper to get going again. So this is a start. I think I finally found a pen I like. These are amazing with copics. I barely have to wait between inking and coloring.
