Wayne had potential for being a great magic user. Everyone on Arcadia did. And if Wayne wanted to achieve his dreams, he needed help. The best bet would be to talk to someone who lived on the island their entire life or see a master of magic.
After talking to some random townspeople, he was told that there were witches and wizards that lived on Arcadia. Hearing that, he knew immediately that he should seek help from one of them.
But the question was, which one would be better teacher for him? “I guess I would have to say a Witch is the better option.” Wayne said as he talked out loud to himself. He had heard stories about witches and how powerful they were, so it couldn’t hurt to seek her help…right?
However he had no way of finding her due to not many people associating with her, or at least the people he had asked. That is until one day while sitting outside on the stair of the Three Sisters Inn, he saw a frog wearing a little tiny hat arrive and it had dropped a letter on his laps. Curious, he opened the letter to see what was written inside.
Due to the multiple repetition of a certain unfortunate event, Vivi always comes prepared for worst case scenarios. One quaint little morning, it has happened once more. Her newest recipe did not achieve the desired effects and instead of getting poisoned or paralyzed, it sneaked up on Vivi once more: she became a frog.
A pink -- though still cute -- frog with her signature witch’s hat tied around her in a neat little ribbon. The Witch could only sigh in frustration as the world felt 20x bigger once more and she’s left vulnerable to the many complications of being a frog. Her first option was to find a magical person familiar with her situation. This ranges from the Witch Princess, Pandora, and-- ugh-- the Wizard.
Since she recently crossed paths with them, she didn’t feel like reuniting once more in her frog form, so she goes for option number two: find a human with magic. Kept in her mouth was one of many letters she wrote beforehand on the event she needed some sort of external help. She hopped and hopped around the whole of Arcadia, approaching possible candidates to be her slave-- err-- her buddy, that can help her return once more to human form.
Unfortunately, not many react well to a pink frog carrying a letter.
When she reached the inn, this would mark her 7th try and Goddess, is she tired. This silly human with a hat didn’t look too promising, but Vivi goes ahead and hopped to his direction, placing the slimy letter on his lap. In it, it read:
“To the person reading this letter,
You are in luck! Fate smiles upon you. For as of this moment, you are chosen to be rewarded by an infinite amount of blessings, if only for one simple cost!
I, the greatest Witch in the whole of Arcadia, am presenting to you a challenge: Turn me back into my human form, and all the blessings you deserve shall be given!!! ♫
The pink frog croaks repeatedly as the human read the letter. Hopefully this time around, the silly human won’t end up running away.
