My college goes hard on combating sexual assault (we have seminars that athletes and frat guys have to go to, The sororities are given lessens on how to stay safe and help others, etc). The counseling center also does several different things each semester to bring awareness to the issue. This display is one of many that they’ve done this year.

If your going to make these type of post about idols who should be kept an eye on because of their mental health and you’re only including idols from popular and trending groups (exo, big bang, snsd, bts ) it’s saying something

I know there’s not enough characters to list all idols but because you only listed popular idols these type of post are uneasy to look at tbh. Especially how as a fan of many underappreciated groups and seeing their calls for help being ignored and then still being ignored when these type of.list come out it’s just…

We can learn something about this death, the fans, the big and small fandoms:

Never, never, judge the PERSONAL AND PRIVATE LIFE OF AN IDOL.

Don’t judge, don’t criticize if they are dating, if have friends, if have a family, if want to be happy with someone.

DON’T JUDGE, because you, a fan, are not there when they come down from the stage, or finish recording a movie or series, you are not there when they close the door of their home and find loneliness, you are not there, no matter how good a fan you are, you are not there. You are not there when they are alone.

Accept it, you’re a fan, and if they also have a lot of work pressure, you criticize their private life, you hurt them so much.

Idols need to be free outside of their jobs, they need to get home or a place and find someone to smile, support and love them.

The love of a fan is never comparable to another love, and they need all love, wherever they are.

We have to love an idol with RESPECT, GRATITUDE and bring their GROWTH.

They work by and for fans, but this is no reason to believe us own their private lives.

it’s really heartbreaking to see chanyeol so exhausted, to the point where he needed to be supplied with oxygen. then in only a short time, he has to put that exhaustion aside and go back out on stage and perform again like he wasn’t just on the verge of passing out a few minutes back. also, this isn’t the first time that we’ve seen chanyeol in this state. there are fancams and pictures of him off-stage from different events where he looked sick and in pain, and who knows how many more times this happens away from the view of the fans. what’s heartbreaking as well is that every member has also gotten sick and/or injured at some point, and has probably had to be given oxygen like chanyeol. some people may say that this is all a part of their job and that it’s normal for idols, but it doesn’t mean that it’s okay and that they don’t have the right to take care of their bodies and well-being. i know that exo is working really hard to bring happiness to exo-ls, but nothing will make me more happy than to see chanyeol, junmyeon, minseok, yixing, jongdae, baekhyun, kyungsoo, jongin, and sehun healthy and very well-rested!
