okay i gotta post a thing under the cut for spoilers & feels

so in this post, it mentions that jafar was actually crying which i mean is feels enough but i went through the movie & i realized it was the scene when jafar was using his magic on the sultan & getting jasmine to marry him. @sassmaiden & i were talking about him betraying the sultan whom he sees as a father figure { ex: him calling the sultan baba }. therefore that scene was basically jafar betraying the sultan with magic which he didn’t want to do, hence the crying. i can’t say the same for him not wanting to do what he did to the others, but i know for a fact that he didn’t want to hurt the sultan but really saw no other way than to nearly kill someone that jafar clearly cared about :’)

Jasmine smiled at his words, slightly shaking her head as she chuckled.

“Maybe a second try will jog your memory?” she practically purred the words into his ear. The princess mimicked his teasing tone, hoping her words would affect him as much as his did her.

the way jasmine uttered those words in such close proximity to him was not something that went unnoticed to the vizier. the look he gave her when meeting jasmine’s gaze made it clear that he was more than willing to repeat their first kiss. it was an expression of want that was newly reserved for the princess. “i suppose it would help.” he decided, lips meeitng jasmine’s once more in the way they did before. proving whilst doing so that he did in fact use his tongue in the kiss that was bestowed before.
