I know I should not get my hopes up, I know I should not. But, I really do love Caleb and King's last interactions together--one of which is quite literally the last time we see Taliesin play King/Molly on screen. It just always stuck with me as such an interesting choice to make for his exit--

Even if it's just more of their playful flirting, I'd love to see their relationship explored more--a little acknowledgement that those feelings are still there, or some closure. It's so fascinating to me that Molly kept this crush in every lifetime, that Caleb was so determined to bring him back and still hangs onto moments like the forehead kiss.

I don't know, I'd just love to see more of King's impulsiveness and excitement that makes him so quick to act on those feelings, how happy Caleb is to play along and tease him back. Both of them being honest and open with their feelings. Maybe we’ll even get another forehead kiss.

And honestly, Molly's memory of their first kiss in the book does give me some hope. The parallel between Lucien's kiss with Brevyn and Molly's moment comforting Caleb. The fact that Mollymauk thinks of his Magician as "Softness and light." It just makes me feel like Taliesin might be interested in exploring King/Molly's feelings for him more, now that he finally has the chance.
