I love the difference in the Lawlight variations. Movie L was down so bad, and the only way Light would even consider touching L would be for L to be on a ventilator fighting for his life (so Light can finish him off). Anime Lawlight wants to murder each other and hold the other's still beating heart, letting blood run down their arm. Drama Lawlight wants to tenderly explore each other's body and run away together. Something for everyone, really.

Octavian's aesthetic 🧸

Octavian deserved a better writer tbh. Like, this dude had prophetic abilities and tons of influence he had the potential to be a legit threat to the protaganists. Instead he was treated as the narrative punching bag.

Like wdym Apollo doesn't care that Octavian died? Octavian,his own legacy, who he supported dies in a super traumatic way and Apollo's reaction is basically "Lmao so glad that creature died."

I also think that Apollo referring to Octavian as "that creature" is super gross but that's a topic for another day. My point is Apollo should have felt something over Octavian's death but he doesn't because... Rick said so.

Speaking of Jason and Octavian should have had some sort of a relationship. I mean they have known each other for years, were they enemies? friends? Who knows.

According to Rick, our main characters hate Octavian because he is eViL and the only people who support Octavian are either side characters with zero personality or pure eViL characters like Octavian.

He had potential, he could have been more complex but unfortunately,the fandom and Rick hate him too much to explore his character.

show fans can claim that pjotv is doing numbers or whatever, but the fact of the matter is, it's not becoming a household name beyond what it already was before pjotv existed. no one outside of the pjo bubble is talking about it. regular department stores don't have shirts or other merch for it. any non-bookish person you talk to has not heard of it or has no interest in watching it. and if/when pjotv is ultimately remembered as another poor adaptation of the books, there will probably be people who say that pjo was just not meant for screen. but i will know better. i will know that hollywood fumbled the bag twice. i will know that pjo deserved the same fame, the same household-name status, as other book-to-screen adaptations that became massively popular. i will know that the story could have worked in both live action and animation. no one will ever convince me that it wasn't possible.
