Could you not use the ship tags, please? if you don’t want people interacting with you and trying to start arguments about ShadowVanilla, telling people to get off your blog, etc. Then stop using the ship tag as it comes off as you’re purposely using the tag to get ShadowVaillba shippers angry to start arguments and dog pile on you.

if you don’t enjoy how folks are treating the ship, just block and filter the tag instead. Tumblr isn't the best place if you’re uncomfortable with problematic ships as its known as the shipping website regardless of how horrible a ship is.

Trying to make call-out posts involving said behavior of shipping problematic ships here will do nothing as most folks follows fandom etiquette of “Don’t like a ship? Just block, filter the tags and move on.”

Sorry that shadowvanilla enjoys don't like seeing someone call out their behavior of invalidating abuse victims, but it should be known. I don't give two shit about the ship when I've seen too many Shadowvanilla shippers try to defend their ship, nothing wrong with that, by paritoting the same old excuses as abusers who try to keep their victims under their control. This invalidates many victims of abuse because "they fought back" or "the abuser loves the victim so it's not abuse." I simply want to guys to stop that. Once you understand what you are saying is wrong, I'll stop calling you out for invalidating victims.

As an abuse victim, both physical and emotional: i ship shadowvanilla because at the core of all this messy relationship is love. I hate my abuser because he hurt me for the control over me, solely for the power. Shadow Milk hurt Pure Vanilla because he wants to keep him by his side, because his love is overwhelming and all teeth and knives. Yes, the dynamic is toxic and unhealthy. No, it's not abuser x victim.

Abusers can still love a person and be abusive, they aren't mutually exclusive, now get off my blog.

Also, shadow milk cookie "loves" pure vanilla or not was never a question, not because it's an obvious answer, but because it doesn't fucking matter when it comes to abuse. "He hurt pure vanilla because he loves pv so much!" And a lot of abusers don't realize they are abusing their victims or are doing it out of "love".

Generally question here but..where did you get the idea that Shadowvanilla is an abuser x victim from? Yes, it's toxic. But it's far, far from abuser and victim as it’s more Hero and Vllain.

I assume you got this from TikTok yes? If so, I highly suggest not getting your information from there as most folks, (mostly Purelily shippers) have been harassing, sending death threats, bullying, even wishing physical harm on ShadowVanilla shippers for the ship. Including conjuring up reasons such as “Shadow milk watched Pure vanilla as a kid” or “It's abuse x victim” when it’s really not and proven false memories made by Shadowmilk.

It's emotional and mental abuse. Pushing someone to the edge of a mental break down or crash out is mental abuse. Shadow milk also used people Pure vanilla cares about in order to do what shadow milk wants, which is also abusive.

Both sides are bad and I have my biases, but i believe putting down victims of abuse is much worse than online threats because that can have a direct impact on people. Talk again when you don't want to be anonymous.

Edit: also, anon please reconsider messaging stuff just bc you want to defend a ship where me saying shadow milk is abusive is a very small aspect of the argument!! I simply don't want you guys to keep disrespecting and invalidating abuse victims like me who have suffered through abuse and have tried to fight back against our abusers!
