I spent the last 3 days pouring my heart into this painting. I was inspired by watching videos of @mirabyler painting with acrylics on YouTube. She painted a giraffe in one of her videos and I just felt compelled to paint my own. I’ve always loved giraffes because they’re so unique. I even have a giraffe collection… 😅 I don’t typically paint with acrylics because things don’t usually turn out the way I want when I do. But this time something really came alive in me and I just kept pushing even when it was looking a little rough at times. It’s a nice reminder to keep going even in the toughest times and to push through until you make out on the other side.
